Chery has revealed a new SUV with a unique front-end light pattern, making it stand out from the usual designs we usually see. Shown at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, the Chery Tiggo X aims not just to be a head turner but also a smart luxury SUV.
The Tiggo X’s overall exterior design is boxy and muscular, which quite resembles how Range Rover SUVs look. However, the Chery Tiggo X makes itself stand out from the British SUVs due to how its front light pattern is designed. As you can see from the images shared by Autohome China, the Tiggo X’s front light pattern features a stardust-like design, giving Chery’s SUV a modern and futuristic look.
The stardust light pattern is complemented by daytime running lights that run through the width of the Tiggo X’s front end. It then comes with a large front bumper, prominent fender flares, and a roof-mounted Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) sensor. The Chery Tiggo X also comes with roof rails and a set of 22-inch black alloy wheels.
The rear is fitted with large taillights, as well as a beefy bumper that gives the Tiggo X a bold finish. It also comes with a roof-mounted spoiler that’s integrated with a slim third brake light.

Inside, the Chery Tiggo X has a modern interior theme that’s highlighted by the screen-abundant dashboard layout. The whole width of the dashboard is integrated with screens, creating a clutter-free cabin, similar to the design approach seen on the all-new Mercedes-Benz C-Class. The Tiggo X also comes with a two-spoke steering wheel, as well as a three-row, seven-seat layout.
Tech-wise, the Tiggo X is equipped with the Falcon Pilot 700 intelligent driving assistance system (ADAS), which works in tandem with the LiDAR sensor. The said ADAS tech supports L2-level autonomous driving functions.
The Chery Tiggo X is powered by the car brand’s hybrid system, which delivers a combined power output of 476 horsepower and 630 Nm of torque, according to Car News China. It also reportedly offers a 1.5T and 2.0T internal combustion engine, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Lastly, the Tiggo X also has a plug-in hybrid variant that offers around 200 kilometers of pure electric range. It then comes with a reportedly combined driving range of over 1,500 kilometers.

Autocar’s Take
The Chery Tiggo X is an SUV that comes with a slightly different look compared to most of the recent crossovers and SUVs from the Chinese car brand. One of the standout features that we find on the Tiggo X is its light pattern that mimics the look of stardust. Aside from having a modern-looking front end, it allows the Tiggo X to have its own identity, its own styling, and its own statement.
Aside from the exterior, the Tiggo X also comes with a premium-looking interior and a clutter-free dashboard, which is brought up by the abundant use of screens. It also comes with a seven-seater capacity, as well as a hybrid powertrain, which makes it an interesting candidate for a local release. But for now, Chery PH has yet to announce its future model launches.
