The Honda Civic RS e:HEV leads the charge in Honda Cars Philippines, Inc.’s (HCPI) April campaign. Dubbed as the “More Miles, More Smiles,” the campaign highlights the Civic RS e:HEV as a fuel-efficient model setting the tone with an impressive 30.12 km/L based on the Department of Energy’s (DOE) 2025 fuel eco-run.

With the impressive feat in mind, the brand claims the Civic RS e:HEV as its most fuel-efficient model in its lineup today. The hybrid sedan shines the light to where HCPI is heading; toward smarter, more efficient mobility for everyday driving.

Aside from the Civic RS e:HEV, HCPI also highlights other models in its roster, which have recorded notable figures confirmed by DOE. The CR-V VX e:HEV delivers 29.4 km/L, while the HR-V RS e:HEV posts 28.08 km/L. These models show how hybrid technology is becoming more practical, offering better efficiency without changing how people normally drive.

But the story does not stop with hybrids. Honda’s gasoline-powered models still play a big role, especially for buyers who want something familiar and accessible. The Honda City continues to be a strong contender for daily use, delivering 22.2 km/L according to the latest DOE tests.

Then there’s the Honda BR-V, which anchors the lineup as a practical seven-seater. It returns 24.71 km/L, making it one of the more efficient options in its class. For families, that balance of space and fuel savings is something hard to ignore.

To highlight the fuel savings achievements of its models, HCPI is rolling out flexible financing options under the “More Miles, More Smiles” campaign this April. The BR-V 1.5 S CVT can be had with an all-in downpayment starting at P10,000, while the City 1.5 S CVT Honda Sensing starts at P17,000. For hybrid buyers, the e:HEV financing program offers lower cash-out, lighter monthly payments, and longer loan terms through BPI.

Moreover, the BR-V also gets an added incentive this month. Customers who purchase any 2026 model-year BR-V CVT variant can choose between a free one-year Periodic Maintenance Service (PMS) or a P15,000 discount, in addition to existing offers.

Autocar’s Take

Leading with the Civic RS e:HEV makes a strong statement, as far as HCPI is concerned. It simply shows how far Honda has pushed the boundaries of efficiency without making things unnecessarily complicated for everyday drivers. Still, what stands out is how the rest of the lineup supports that direction.

The BR-V and the City keep things accessible, offering practical options for buyers who are not yet ready to go hybrid. It is a balanced approach — one that does not force a shift in lifestyle, but instead gives room for buyers to choose what works best for them with fuel savings in mind.
