Chevrolet Philippines is rolling out its Road Care program this Holy Week 2026, upholding its commitment to safety during one of the country’s busiest travel periods. Launched by Hariphil Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI), the exclusive local distributor of Chevrolet, it offers free roadside assistance and vehicle support services to Chevrolet owners travelling across key routes in Luzon.

According to Chevrolet, the program will run on April 2, 4, and 5, and will accept clients from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This time frame, the company says, is aligned with the expected surge in traffic before, during, and after the holiday.

Designed to provide motorists with added peace of mind, the Chevrolet Road Care program includes minor repairs, basic troubleshooting, and vehicle safety inspections. These services aim to prevent breakdowns and ensure vehicles remain roadworthy throughout the Holy Week exodus.

A total of 11 Chevrolet dealerships will participate, strategically positioned along major highways and travel corridors in North Luzon, Metro Manila, and South Luzon. Locations include Ilocos Norte, Isabela, Dagupan, Baguio, Pampanga, Makati, Commonwealth, Alabang, Cainta, Las Piñas, and Camarines Sur. Many of these service points are situated along high-traffic routes such as NLEX, SLEX, and key provincial highways.

Autocar’s Take

Chevrolet Philippines’ Road Care program is a practical and timely response to a very real seasonal need. By tradition, Holy Week means staying at home, meditating, and reflecting on spiritual things. But as times change, the season is now an opportunity for many to travel, be one with nature, or visit family and friends in the province. Of course, the result of this is the burden of spending long hours on congested highways, where even minor vehicle issues can quickly escalate.

By placing service teams directly along key routes, Chevrolet shifts from reactive support to proactive assistance. It is a simple but effective approach that benefits both customers and the brand’s reputation. More importantly, it proves how after-sales services can extend beyond the dealership. Programs like this can strengthen customer trust, an advantage a brand can have in this highly competitive market.
