Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) has given essential relief supplies to 250 families that were severely affected by Typhoon Tino in Cebu, which struck in November 2025. IPC, together with its Mandaue dealer partner Iconic Dealership, Inc. (IDI), collaborated with local government units to make the distribution possible.
As a review, Cebu was among the hardest-hit areas during the onslaught of Typhoon Tino back in November 2025. It caused flooding and widespread damage to communities, which also prompted other car brands such as MG and Honda to launch their respective relief initiatives.
Isuzu PH previously launched the Calamity Assistance Program, which offered discounted vehicle parts and repair services. IPC said that it has launched the said initiative due to the increasing frequency of natural calamities in the Philippines, including typhoons and floods.
IPC shared that the relief packs it has distributed to 250 families affected by Typhoon Tino in Cebu include canned goods, drinking water, and a sack of rice. The car brand believes that these would support the recovery needs of underprivileged families who are still rebuilding months after the disaster.
The relief initiative was led by IPC Human Resources Supervisor Kathryn Francisco, Isuzu Mandaue Branch Manager Eufemio Ybañez, and representatives from partner LGUs. The team distributed the relief packs to the communities of Lilo-an, Cotcot, Consolacion, and Laray. IPC also deployed its Isuzu Mobile Medic unit to transport the relief goods. The car brand said that the vehicle is usually used for on-site vehicle assistance.

“IPC is not only a Responsible Partner for customers, but also for communities in need. Local residents and businesses have helped strengthen IPC’s leadership as the country’s leading truck brand, and it is only right that we give back in times of hardship,” said IPC Human Resources Supervisor Kathryn Francisco.
“It was truly uplifting to witness the strength and unity of the affected families. We are honored to join IPC in this initiative, and we remain committed to supporting our fellow Cebuanos as they work toward recovery,” shared Isuzu Mandaue Branch Head Eufemio Ybañez.
Meanwhile, Barangay Representative April Malonjao, together with barangay officials, welcomed the team and helped organize the distribution.
Autocar’s Take
Isuzu Philippines’ distribution of relief packs to the communities affected by Typhoon Tino is a good initiative by the car brand. It also shows that Isuzu PH is somehow monitoring the situation on the ground, since one of the factors that prompted them to launch the relief distribution is to be able to support the recovery needs of underprivileged families who are still rebuilding months after Typhoon Tino struck.
The relief packs were distributed to 250 families who are residing in the communities of Lilo-an, Cotcot, Consolacion, and Laray. The relief packs are believed to support the affected families as they continue to rebuild from Typhoon Tino’s onslaught.
