SMC Asia Car Distributors Corp., the official importer and distributor of BMW vehicles in the Philippines, is about to have a merry and happy Christmas, as it has delivered a historic sales milestone.

BMW Philippines has confirmed that its Year-to-Date deliveries through November 2025 have reached 843 units, officially surpassing the total sales volume of 815 units achieved in the full calendar year of 2024. This means that BMW PH has already surpassed its 2024 sales by 28 units, with the 2025 calendar year yet to be closed. Indeed, BMW is having a great year in terms of sales.

The company shared that it has recorded an exceptional performance in the recent quarter, having sold close to 300 units in the past three months alone. BMW PH said that its positive sales performance this 2025 is driven by the market’s increasing adoption of electrified vehicles, and BMW so happens to have the right models to cater to the growing demand.

As such, the BMW X3 Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV), the BMW 3 Series, and the BMW X1 are considered to be the car brand’s volume sellers, helping push the German car brand’s historic sales milestone.

“To secure this record early in December is a phenomenal achievement for our team, and we would like to express our sincere gratitude for the unwavering support and trust of our customers. The immediate sell-out of models like the X3 PHEV confirms that our Power of Choice strategy—offering the best of both worlds in performance and efficiency—is perfectly aligned with the market,” said BMW Philippines President Jacob Ang.

Of note, Jacob Ang was just appointed as BMW’s new President, which took effect last September 1, 2025. Ramon S. Ang previously said that Jacob’s “fresh perspective will help the company to further strengthen BMW’s presence in the Philippine market.

BMW PH added that its achievement secures a positive growth rate and highlights the car brand’s “successful navigation of the local premium automotive sector, which has otherwise experienced contraction and softening demand throughout the year.”
