SMC Asia Car Distributors Corp., the official importer and distributor of BMW in the Philippines, proudly announces the arrival of the all-new, fourth-generation BMW X3, introduced for the first time in the country as a plug-in hybrid: the BMW X3 30e xDrive M Sport.
This latest generation builds upon a legacy of success, offering elevated sporting appeal, versatility, and a bold new design language that amplifies presence and aerodynamic elegance. With its thoroughly reimagined exterior and a technologically advanced, driver-focused interior, the all-new BMW X3 sets a new standard in the premium midsize Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) segment.
The cabin exemplifies BMW’s commitment to premium craftsmanship, combining high-quality materials with advanced features such as the new BMW iDrive with QuickSelect powered by BMW Operating System 9. Inside, a widescreen display and minimalist control architecture enhance functionality and aesthetics.
Powering the all-new X3 30e xDrive M Sport is a sophisticated plug-in hybrid system that combines the award-winning B48 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with an electric motor to deliver a total output of up to 299 hp. With an electric-only range of up to 90 kilometers (WLTP), and 11 kW AC charging capability, the model is optimized for efficiency, performance, and daily usability.
Driving dynamics are further enhanced by a lighter, more rigid body, wider rear track, and refined suspension geometry. Adaptive suspension, near-actuator wheel slip limitation, and variable xDrive all-wheel drive contribute to a balanced combination of agility and comfort.
The X3 30e xDrive M Sport also arrives with an expanded suite of semi-automated driving technologies, including Driving Assistant and Parking Assistant Plus, with features such as Steering and Lane Control Assist and a 360-degree camera system.
Exterior design highlights include a larger kidney grille with BMW Iconic Glow, L-shaped LED lighting, and distinctive M Sport features such as 20-inch alloy wheels, aerodynamic enhancements, and blue-painted M Sport brake calipers. A selection of seven exterior colors—including new Dune Grey Metallic—further personalizes its presence.
The new BMW X3 offers a generous list of standard features, including three-zone automatic climate control, Comfort Access, BMW Live Cockpit Professional, wireless smartphone integration, and ambient lighting. The interior’s adaptability includes up to 1,600 liters of cargo space, and sport seats upholstered in M Veganza and Alcantara made from secondary materials.
Priced at Php 4,790,000, the all-new BMW X3 30e xDrive M Sport includes a portable flexi charger, five-year comprehensive BMW warranty (or 200,000 km), and eight-year battery warranty (or 120,000 km).
