Hariphil Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI), the official distributor of Volvo Cars in the Philippines, is offering notable cash discounts for its plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs). The company announced that it is offering a P500,000 cash discount for the XC90 PHEV T8 and XC60 PHEV T8.

Volvo PH shared that the XC90 T8 has the capability to deliver up to 77 kilometers of electric-only driving range. The car brand added that the XC90’s “combination of electric capability, strong power output, and Scandinavian elegance” allows it to be a “truly versatile premium SUV.”

The Volvo XC60 T8 PHEV, on the other hand, also receives a P500,000 cash discount. The XC60 T8 is claimed to offer up to 80 kilometers of electric-only range. Volvo shared that when the XC60’s battery charge is depleted, the vehicle will switch back to hybrid operation to maximize fuel efficiency.

Speaking of fuel efficiency, Volvo PH has pitted the XC60 T8 PHEV at the 2025 Fuel Eco Run that was organized by the Department of Energy in partnership with Petron. The said fuel eco run was held last September 2025, which included 70 vehicles from various car brands, including Volvo.

The fuel eco run was conducted along a stretch or section of the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX), covering a total distance of around 155 kilometers. As per DOE’s results, the Volvo XC60 T8 PHEV achieved a fuel efficiency of 52.2 km/L.

HARI is encouraging interested individuals to visit authorized Volvo dealerships nationwide to learn more about the P500,000 cash discount promo for the XC90 PHEV T8 and XC60 PHEV T8. The company added that its cash discount promo is the ideal time to experience Volvo’s PHEV technology.
