Responsible vehicle ownership is making sure that the car is in good running condition, regardless of the model’s age. Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) understands the importance of regular car maintenance, which is why it introduced the T-OPT, a premium regional aftermarket parts brand with reliable quality.

TMP said that T-OPT is designed for Toyota owners whose vehicles are already out-of-warranty. The Japanese car brand claims that T-OPT is a reputable and reliable aftermarket parts brand, backed by Toyota expertise.

TMP First Vice President for Customer First and Value Chain Operations Mike Masamayor commented that T-OPT provides alternative car parts, making it accessible for owners of older Toyota models.

“At T-OPT, we believe in providing alternative car parts that are accessible to all. Our commitment to providing hassle-free car ownership extends to our customers who own older Toyota vehicles and refuse to compromise on quality,” Masamayor said.

Toyota PH shared that T-OPT is a brand that’s already established in Thailand and Indonesia. The car brand said that T-OPT offers a balance of affordability and performance. It serves the growing market of aging Toyotas and pre-owned vehicles, giving owners more options to care for the cars they have come to value over the years while helping them maintain vehicle performance, safety, and comfort.

T-OPT aims to be a trusted automotive parts brand that customers can rely on. Toyota is actively involved in the development of T-OPT parts to help deliver reliable quality at a relatively affordable price. The initial T-OPT parts lineup includes maintenance parts such as oil and air filters, as well as wear-and-tear parts such as wiper blades, brake pads and shoes, and clutch covers and discs.

The T-OPT parts stated above are compatible with the following Toyota models: Vios, Avanza, Wigo, Innova, and Hiace.

“TMP will continue to develop T-OPT parts to meet the growing needs of its customers,” Masamayor added.

Toyota Philippines said that retail sales will start on April 13, 2026, through a reputable network of distributors and service providers, including Aerodynamics Commercial Corporation, HD Trucks, Guthrie Marketing, LCG Group of Companies, Motech, and Autoquix Outlets.

Autocar’s Take

Maintaining a vehicle is part of being a responsible car owner and motorist. A regularly maintained car will allow it to perform at its optimum running condition, giving you the expected performance that yields safer and more efficient drives. Toyota Motor Philippines understands this, which is why it has launched the T-OPT aftermarket parts, designed specifically for older Toyota models.

Having access to spare parts will allow owners of older Toyota models an easier time keeping their cars in good running condition. Parts availability will also help in keeping the car alive, achieving more smiles per mile, and safer drives.
