Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) has unveiled the second-generation Palisade. It’s a follow-up to the previous version, but it’s back with an electrified setup for the first time.
The Palisade Hybrid is a premium 7-seater SUV, designed to cater to the modern Filipino who desires both refined luxury and future-ready technology. This expands HMPH’s local hybrid lineup and stands as a bold expression of the brand’s commitment to Progress for Humanity, featuring Hyundai’s top-notch innovations and technologies.
The Palisade’s commanding presence meets elegant design. Up front it has wide-projection LED headlamps and distinct daytime running lights, it combines both the rugged SUV stance with upscale refinement and it rolls on 21-inch alloy wheels with 265/45s.
The interior is luxurious and offers a sophisticated driving experience with a heads-up display, power-adjustable Nappa leather seats, passenger seats have lumbar support and ventilated rear seats, dual-zone air conditioning, 14-speaker Bose premium audio, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also features intuitive technologies, which includes fingerprint recognition for Audio, Visual, Navigation (AVN), and engine start.
Under the hood is a turbocharged 2.5-liter Hybrid petrol engine with an electric motor, putting out a combined output of 334 horsepower with 422 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission that drives all four wheels.
Its also equipped with Hyundai’s SmartSense advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Reverse Parking Collision Avoidance Assist and Side Parking Distance Warning, Lane Following Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist, Blind Spot View Monitor, Parking Distance Warning, Manual Speed Limit Assist, Rear Occupant Alert, and Surround View Monitor.
The all-new Hyundai PALISADE Hybrid is priced at P3,980,000 and comes in four colors: Abyss Black Pearl, Ecotronic Gray Pearl, Creamy White Pearl, and Robust Emerald Pearl. It’s covered by a 5-year or 200,000km warranty, whichever comes first, and its battery is covered by an 8-year or 160,000km warranty, whichever comes first.
