TGR Philippine Cup revs into Season 11 on March 22

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is revving up for another adrenaline-packed season with the 11th edition of the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Philippine Cup (TGR Philippine Cup). Formerly known as the TGR Vios Cup, this premier racing series is set to bring motorsports closer to Filipinos with exciting new additions. The action kicks off at Clark International Speedway on March 22, where Novice, Sporting, and Super Sporting Class drivers will battle in Sprint and Endurance Races.

Star-Studded Grid & New Legacy Class

TMP President Masando Hashimoto, Reph Bangsil, and media racers return to the Novice Class, joined by fresh contenders. Last season’s Novice champion Russel Reyes and runner-up Jamil Lacuna move up to the Sporting Class alongside Kody Ng.

Adding to the excitement, the new Legacy Class welcomes former Vios Cup racers and third-gen Vios owners for a nostalgic yet competitive showdown.

Introducing the Club Race & Fan Activities

For the first time, Toyota’s GR car clubs will compete in the Club Race, a 5-lap sprint featuring GR Yaris, GR Supra, and GR 86 owners. Fans can also enjoy:

  • Track Day runs
  • The new GR Yaris debut
  • GR car displays and merchandise booths
  • Drifting and gymkhana exhibitions
  • TGR GT Cup e-racing experience
  • Live music from Hale

Admission is free, and the event will be streamed live on TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Philippines’ Facebook and YouTube.
