Tesla Philippines has officially launched its Supercharger station at the Opus Mall in Quezon City, expanding the American electric vehicle (EV) brand’s footprint in Metro Manila. The newly opened facility is located on the third-floor mezzanine area of the high-end lifestyle establishment.
The Opus Mall site becomes Tesla Philippines’ fourth Supercharger station in Metro Manila. This follows established Supercharger stations in SM Mall of Asia in Pasay, Shanghai-La Mall in Mandaluyong, and Uptown Mall in BGC, Taguig. To mark the launch, the company has announced that all Tesla owners are eligible for free super-fast charging at the new Opus Mall station. This offer runs from February 10 to 12, 2026.
The opening of the Opus Mall Tesla Supercharger station reinforces the brand’s focus on destination-based fast charging, allowing vehicle owners to charge while shopping, dining, or going to the movies. As with other Tesla Supercharger stations in the Philippines, the Opus Mall station is designed exclusively for Tesla Vehicles. To date, Tesla Philippines offers the Model 3 sedan and the Model Y SUV, both offering tech-forward all-electric mobility.

Tesla’s ecosystem in the Philippines continues to grow alongside its charging infrastructure. It currently operates three experience stations located in Alabang Town Center, Uptown Mall, and Opus Mall. It also has one service center and two Tesla-approved body shops for repair and maintenance. With the launch of the Opus Mall site, the brand now has four Supercharging stations nationwide, totaling 16 Superchargers. It also maintains six destination charging stations equipped with 24 Wall Connectors.
Tesla Philippines has confirmed plans to expand its Supercharger network in 2026. Announced locations include two sites in Cebu, with additional stations planned for Clark, Baguio, Olongapo, and Taguig. These infrastructure expansions aim to improve charging accessibility in, around, and beyond Metro Manila to support long-distance EV travel.
The continued rollout highlights Tesla Philippines’ infrastructure-first approach as the local EV market develops. Globally, Tesla claims its Supercharger network is the world’s most reliable and robust EV charging system. As of its latest global update, Tesla reports more than 7,700 Supercharger stations worldwide, supported by over 65,000 Supercharger stalls. The company also cites a 99.95% Supercharger uptime rate, underscoring its brand emphasis on reliability as EV adoption scales across various regions.
Autocar’s Take
Tesla Philippines’ Opus Mall Supercharger launch is a meaningful step because it prioritizes availability over spectacle. Fast charging in everyday destinations is what ultimately makes EV ownership workable, especially in dense cities like Metro Manila. Offering free charging during the opening period also allows Tesla owners to experience the system’s convenience firsthand.
What stands out more is the forward-looking plan for regional expansion in 2026. If the planned expansion sites come to fruition as initially scheduled, Tesla’s charging network could shift EV ownership in the Philippines from early adoption to mainstream lifestyle.
