It was most certainly a “tour to remember” for the team representing JETOUR Auto Philippines Inc (JAPI) during the first-ever JETOUR Global Service Skills Competition held at the JETOUR International Headquarters in Wuhu, China from November 20 to 26, 2023.

A total of 17 teams from around the world—highlighting JETOUR’s global diversity—participated in the service and aftersales skills competition. These JETOUR teams came from the Americas (Colombia, Ecuador, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Pero, and Uruguay), Eurasia (Bahrain, Belarus, Iran, Kazakhstan, Oman, The Philippines, Russia, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and Uzbekistan), and Africa (Egypt).

The participants were warmly welcomed by JETOUR International executives, with no less than Jackie Chen, President of JETOUR International, and Anguo “Andy” Yuan, General Manager of JETOUR International, imparting their inspiring messages at the start of the competition on November 22, 2023.

Amid intense competition, the JETOUR global teams also immersed themselves in enriching sessions that oriented the members in new products. A roundtable meeting among JETOUR International executives, country leaders, distributors, and department heads discussed ways to add value to aftersales services.

Finally, the competition ended in friendship, unity, and camaraderie, as the First JETOUR Global Service Skills Competition closed with a celebratory dinner at Mount Huangshan (Yellow Mountains) in Anhui Province, culminating in a fireworks display and bonfire, where all competition participants, as well as officers and executives of JETOUR International forged stronger bonds.

For Team JAPI, the First JETOUR Global Service Skills Competition was an opportunity for Filipinos to showcase their innate talents and passion for service in the automotive industry. Team JAPI’s admirable finish boosts JETOUR International’s confidence in the Philippine market, while the team’s exposure to diversity and global competition enhances the members’ skills and experience, which ultimately redounds to an even more delightful customer experience.
