PITX, GET Philippines partner for introduction of Electric Shuttle Service

Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) has officially launched the PITX Electric Shuttle Service, an innovative and eco-friendly transport solution developed in partnership with GET Philippines, Inc., the country’s only fully electric passenger transport service provider. This initiative aims to provide commuters with a sustainable and convenient travel option between PITX and key locations within the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) complex.

The service was officially introduced on January 24, marking a major step toward modernizing public transport with sustainable solutions.

Atty. Jaime Raphael Feliciano, President of PITX, emphasized the significance of this launch, stating:
“The PITX Electric Shuttle Service represents our commitment to integrating green transport solutions into the commuting landscape. If successful, we hope to expand this initiative to future projects, such as the Cavite BRT system. This is a step toward more reliable and environmentally responsible transport options for Filipinos.”

The service utilizes COMET electric vehicles (EVs) from GET Philippines, reducing carbon emissions while ensuring a comfortable and efficient ride. Designed to cater to commuters’ specific needs, the shuttle offers customized routes and schedules, benefiting office workers, students, and mall-goers within the MOA complex.

Initial route stops include:

  • PITX, SMX, SM MOA South Wing, SM MOA North Wing, Two E-Com Center, Four E-Com Center, SM Retail HQ/Shore Residences Bldg. C, Shore 3 Residences, Shell Residences, SM MOA Globe, and Sea Residences.

To start, three electric shuttle units will operate from Friday to Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Depending on demand, the service may expand to additional days and more shuttle units in the future.

Commuters can access the service via the GETPass mobile app, which provides real-time tracking, trip schedules, and route details. This digital platform enhances convenience, ensuring a seamless and reliable commuting experience.

By introducing this electric shuttle service, PITX continues its mission of advancing sustainable transport solutions, offering a forward-thinking alternative that meets the evolving needs of urban commuters while supporting environmental sustainability.
