Pinnacle Motorsport fields three cars in Inaugural 2025 F4 Middle East Championship

Pinnacle Motorsport is set to make a strong presence on the grid for the inaugural 2025 Formula 4 Middle East Championship, fielding three cars as the season kicks off this weekend at the Yas Marina Circuit. The Motorsport Ireland-licensed team has confirmed an impressive driver lineup consisting of Wang Yuzhe, Kyuho Lee, and Yuta Suzuki.

Wang Yuzhe returns to Pinnacle Motorsport following a successful stint in the Formula Trophy UAE. The Chinese driver achieved a 5th-place finish during his F4 Chinese Championship debut last year before competing in the three-round Middle East series. Wang will headline the team’s efforts, competing in all five events of the F4 Middle East season.

Kyuho Lee, a recent FIA OKN World Cup Champion, is set to make his single-seater debut. The South Korean’s karting success earned him an invite to the prestigious FIA Prize Giving Ceremony in Rwanda. Lee will join the team for the double-header at Yas Marina, marking his first venture into formula car racing.

Similarly, Yuta Suzuki from Japan transitions into formula racing after an extensive karting career in Europe. Suzuki has already begun his journey in single-seaters with limited outings in his home country and will compete in the first two rounds of the 2025 season with Pinnacle Motorsport.

A Thrilling 2025 Calendar

The 2025 F4 Middle East Championship will take place across three FIA Grade 1 circuits, offering an intense seven-week racing schedule. The season begins with two rounds at Yas Marina Circuit in January, moves to the Dubai Autodrome for Round 3, and concludes at the iconic Jeddah Corniche Circuit—home of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix—on February 25. Each round features three races, totaling 30 races across the season.

2025 F4 Middle East Championship Calendar:

  • Round 1: January 17-19 (Yas Marina Circuit)
  • Round 2: January 21-23 (Yas Marina Circuit)
  • Round 3: February 7-9 (Dubai Autodrome)
  • Round 4: February 14-16 (Yas Marina Circuit)
  • Round 5: February 25-27 (Jeddah Corniche Circuit)

John O’Hara, Pinnacle Motorsport Team Director, expressed excitement about the team’s participation: “It’s going to be an intense few weeks in the desert as we add three more drivers to Pinnacle Motorsport’s roster. After announcing our FRMEC lineup, we’re now confirming that Wang Yuzhe, Kyuho Lee, and Yuta Suzuki will compete with us in F4 Middle East. The team will be pushing all three talents with hopes of delivering strong results.”

Pinnacle Motorsport’s campaign is supported by Motorsport Ireland and KC Motorgroup Ltd. as key partners.

About the Championship

Organized by Top Speed, the Formula Regional Middle East Championship Certified by FIA builds on the success of previous Formula Regional Asian Championship UAE seasons. The Middle East continues to emerge as a hub for junior single-seater motorsport, providing a clear development pathway from karting to F4 and Formula Regional racing.
