PhilEnergy 2025 spotlights shaping the energy sector for a sustainable future

The Philippines’ premier energy trade event, PhilEnergy Expo 2025, is set to return from March 19 to 21 at the SMX Convention Center Manila. This annual event will bring together industry leaders, brands, and organizations from the local and international energy sectors, focusing on clean and sustainable energy solutions.

Under its core theme, “Shaping the Philippines’ Energy Sector for a Sustainable Future,” PhilEnergy 2025 serves as a dynamic platform for collaboration, innovation, and dialogue. The three-day event will showcase the latest advancements in Renewable Energy (RE), Energy Efficiency (EE), Electric & Power (E&P), Electric Vehicles (EV), and Energy Storage (ES)—all crucial components in the country’s push toward sustainability and net-zero emissions.

A Platform for Innovation and Policy Discussion

“PhilEnergy Expo 2025 continues to be a vital hub for showcasing breakthrough technologies and discussing key issues shaping today’s evolving energy sector,” says Rungphech Rose Chitanuwat, Country General Manager of Informa Markets Philippines, the event’s organizer. The expo will feature an extensive exhibition, networking opportunities, and expert-led panel discussions to foster growth and cooperation in the industry.

The event is endorsed by the Department of Energy (DOE) and backed by major industry organizations such as the Philippine Energy Efficiency Alliance (PE2), Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (EVAP), and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), among others.

Driving the Philippines Toward a Clean Energy Future

The Philippine Energy Plan 2023-2050 outlines the nation’s goal of increasing renewable energy to 35% by 2030 and over 50% by 2040. Alongside this, advancements in energy efficiency, electric power distribution, and electric vehicle adoption are paving the way for a greener energy landscape.

PhilEnergy Expo 2025 will facilitate discussions on critical topics such as the Circular Economy in the Green Energy Sector, Decentralized Energy Systems, and Power & Energy Security Agenda.

Co-located Event: WATER PHILIPPINES 2025

Running concurrently on the Ground Level of SMX Convention Center, Water Philippines 2025 focuses on water supply, sanitation, and wastewater management. With over 400 exhibitors and 12,000 expected attendees, the event aims to support sustainable water management solutions amid the country’s ongoing water crisis.
