OMODA & JAECOO makes first ever appearance at MIAS 2024

OMODA & JAECOO made their first appearance at the recently-concluded 2024 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS). During the said 4-day event, they showcased a lineup of crossover intelligent SUVs. These include the OMODA C5, the pure electric SUV OMODA E5 EV, the high-end off-road SUV JAECOO J7, and the luxury off-road SUV JAECOO J8. This diverse range demonstrated future modes of transportation, striking the strongest note in OMODA & JAECOO’s endeavor to craft a global, personalized brand image.

The 2024 MIAS also marked the unveiling of OMODA & JAECOO’s new brand strategy called “GLOBAL BRAND FILIPINO CENTRIC”. With a comprehensive lineup of products spanning all categories, and guided by the operation philosophy of “In the Philippines, for the Philippines,” OMODA & JAECOO endeavor to shape a highly personalized identity.

The MIAS has been held for almost 20 years now, standing as the most influential international auto show in the Philippines. Attracting world-class automotive brands each year, the event’s 2024 staging yielded a record-breaking 162,000+ attendees. OMODA & JAECOO’s inaugural appearance at MIAS contributed to this huge figure. Spanning nearly 800 square meters, the OMODA & JAECOO booth at the event’s SMX Convention Center location, created an immersive experience that intertwined the scenarios of “Future-proof Fashion Ecosystem” and “Personalized Off-road Ecosystem”.

The four newly launched models – OMODA C5, OMODA E5, JAECOO J7, and JAECOO J8 – attracted thousands of visitors. The brand’s first pure electric model, the OMODA E5, drew a crowd with its aesthetically pleasing design. Its long range, aerodynamic performance, and wind noise reduction, combined with futuristic styling is poised to become a leading Electric Vehicle product in the Philippine market.

Moreover, OMODA & JAECOO, showcased the vehicles in scenarios where they are in their natural habitats. This demonstrated a range of ecological products including bicycles, brand-customized eco-friendly apparel, tents, and camping chairs, interpreting OMODA & JAECOO’s vision of centering around the vehicle and extending into personalized future technological ecosystems for users. The brands also offered a test drive experience, allowing users, media, and dealer representatives to deeply experience the charm of the OMODA 5 and JAECOO 7 products, and to personally appreciate the latest achievements in brand technological innovation.

To cap off their unveiling, popular Filipino artist SILENT SANCTUARY made a surprise appearance, witnessing the unveiling of the star models and performing three classic songs. 

OMODA & JAECOO’s MIAS participation highlights the brands’ strategy for the Philippine market. Leveraging the MIAS platform, OMODA & JAECOO opened direct lines of communication with Filipino consumers, enabling close and comprehensive interactions. This is set to aid the brand in adapting its strategies for the local market.
