Mitsubishi has been hyping up the return of the Pajero by releasing nuggets of information in the form of teasers. Recently, the Japanese automaker showed a glimpse of the all-new Pajero’s interior but has still kept everything a mystery.
In fact, the teaser video shows very little of what the all-new Pajero’s interior would be once it is launched. We envy those individuals who were given sneak peek access, which was held during Mitsubishi’s Star Camp, an outdoor camping and fan-appreciation event hosted annually by the Japanese automaker. Star Camp first started in Japan back in 1991; the event brings together hundreds of Mitsubishi owners for an outdoor camping experience.

As such, the video showed raw reactions from the Star Camp participants. From the looks of it, it’s safe to say that they were satisfied and pleased with what they saw. The teaser video suggests that the next-generation Mitsubishi Pajero could come with a two-tone interior of beige and black. The cabin is dominantly finished in beige, which shows that Mitsubishi intends to give the all-new Pajero a premium-looking interior that could stand out from its current models.
Mitsubishi has not yet fully revealed the all-new Pajero’s interior. Aside from revealing that it could come with a beige interior, the teaser video also suggests that the door panels could feature stitching, which is a nod to the previous generation Pajero that comes with door panels with a distinctive pattern and stitching. This also adds texture and style points to the Pajero’s interior.

Another thing we spotted in the teaser video is that the all-new Pajero could come with handlebars that are placed on the A-pillar. Again, this is a nod to the previous generation Pajero SUVs, which came with a handlebar on the A-pillar, making ingress easier. Meanwhile, Mitsubishi previously confirmed that the next-gen Pajero will come with a tri-gauge meter, a feature that’s regarded by many, such as car enthusiasts, as an iconic or classic Pajero component.
Now, onto the exterior, the next-gen Pajero could come with a bold and composed stance, as it looks to have a wide body and relatively tall ride height. Based on the teaser video, the individuals who were given the sneak peek appear to be relatively dwarfed or small when standing next to or in front of the next-gen Mitsubishi Pajero. One of the individuals even mentioned that the all-new Pajero looks sleek and stylish.
Autocar’s Take
Mitsubishi has once again released a teaser about the all-new Pajero, which further hypes its upcoming debut (sometime from September to November). The Japanese automaker’s latest teaser features a video that shows a glimpse of the next-gen Pajero’s interior, which could come in beige. This makes the Pajero have a more premium-looking interior, raising the bar in terms of cabin refinement compared to other Mitsubishi models in the market today. However, Mitsubishi has still yet to show more with regard to the all-new Pajero’s interior layout.
