Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has opened a new dealership in Bantay, Ilocos Sur, further expanding its presence in Northern Luzon. Operating under the guidance of NAMCO (Northpoint Alliance Motor Corporation) Sur Corporation, this new facility stands as the group’s second Mitsubishi outlet and the 68th 3S dealership in MMPC’s nationwide network, offering sales, service, and spare parts.
The newly-opened dealership is located along the National Highway in Barangay Bulag. It stands on a 2,043 sqm lot with a floor area of 1,865 sqm. Its showroom is capable of accommodating up to five display units, while its service area features seven service bays to handle regular maintenance and repair work. Furthermore, the facility has a customer lounge area and parking space for clients and visitors.
MMPC sees the area within Barangay Bulag as an automotive hot spot, a place that has become a center for vehicle dealerships in Ilocos Sur. Its strategic location makes it accessible not only to Bantay residents but also to customers from nearby towns.
For NAMCO Sur Corporation, the expansion signifies its continued role in expanding Mitsubishi’s presence in the north. Johanson Chua, President of NAMCO Sur Corporation, went on to say that his group is proud to be a long-time partner of MMPC, adding that the new dealership will allow them to serve customers on a much greater scale.
The new facility highlights MMPC’s continued efforts to broaden its 3S dealerships to meet the demands of an expanding customer base. It also reflects the automotive industry’s steady growth outside Metro Manila, particularly in key provincial areas like Northern Luzon.
