MG Motor Philippines kicks off the New Energy Tour to give Filipinos a glimpse of what the future of mobility will be like today.
The MG New Energy Tour is a mall-based one-make car show featuring the brand’s roster of electric vehicles (EVs) and hybrid models, as well as its future tech, which could soon become Philippine motoring’s new normal. This is MG’s way of connecting to people and showing Filipinos that going electric isn’t just about environmentalism and adapting to change. It’s also about cutting-edge technology and a new kind of driving experience.
The first leg of the MG New Energy Tour is happening now until September 28, 2025, at SM Iloilo. After this, the roadshow will travel to key locations nationwide in the coming months. These include stops in Davao, Cebu, and Metro Manila. The MG New Energy Tour combines car displays, test drive opportunities, and interactive exhibits that highlight the brand’s new energy vehicles. It’s a whole brand experience not to be missed.
One of the tour’s showstoppers is the MG Cyberster, the brand’s first all-electric sports car. Joining it is the all-new MG ZS Hybrid+, along with other models that will be featured at different legs nationwide. Another key feature is the Interactive Hybrid Visual Module, an installation that demonstrates MG’s hybrid powertrain system. It showcases how the system switches between eight different modes, ranging from full-EV to hybrid to conventional internal combustion engine (ICE).
Apart from the car show and tech demos, each leg of the MG New Energy Tour offers public test drives, product showcases, and other family-friendly activities for everyone to enjoy. Moreover, MG is also rolling out exciting promos, including up to P400,000 in savings on select new energy vehicles, as well as financing options such as 0% interest for up to 60 months with a 20% down payment.
For those who can’t make it to the first leg of the MG New Energy Tour, they may visit its next round at the SM Ecoland in Davao on October 17 to 19, 2025. Then, the tour will head to SM Seaside Cebu on November 7 to 9, 2025, before going to the BGC Amphitheater in Taguig City on November 14, 2025.
