Kia Philippines has expanded the variant options of the Sonet with the introduction of the K-Style Limited Edition trim. Limited to 150 units, the car brand said that the Sonet K-Style Edition reflects Kia’s heritage and design philosophy.

Kia PH explained that the letter “K” on the limited edition Sonet stands for its Korean roots, and “Style” for the vehicle’s expressive design. Kia PH Managing Director Jay Lopez stated that the Sonet K-Style Edition “celebrates the vibrant energy of today’s new generation of drivers.”

“It’s designed for those who want their first car to reflect their individuality, expressive, confident, and ready for new adventures, while embodying Kia’s understanding of what young drivers value most,” Lopez added.

The Kia Sonet K-Style Edition features exclusive exterior upgrades that separate it from the standard model. It is available in two exterior colors: Sparking Silver and Aurora Black, both of which are equipped with 16-inch alloy wheels. Kia decided to fit black wheels for the silver units and silver wheels for the black model, adding exterior color contrast to the Sonet K-Style Edition.

It also comes with a K-Style decal that can be seen on the limited vehicle’s side profile. The Sparkling Silver Sonet comes with a black K-Style decal, while the Aurora Black Sonet is integrated with a gray K-Style decal.

Other features remain similar to the standard Kia Sonet, which is the trend in the current special edition vehicles offered in the local market. Think of the Suzuki Jimny Rhino Edition as well as the Ford Ranger Raptor Special Edition.

Inside, the Kia Sonet K-Style Edition features the same cabin layout as the standard model. As such, it features a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also has a digital instrument cluster and a sunroof.

Under the hood, the Kia Sonet K-Style Edition retains the same 1.5-liter gasoline engine, which produces 113 horsepower and 144 Nm of torque, paired with an Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT).

Completing the package is Kia DriveWise, the brand’s suite of advanced driver assistance technologies. Standard features include cruise control, lane keep assist, lane following assist, and forward collision-avoidance assist.

The Kia Sonet K-Style Edition is limited to 150 units and is priced at P1,158,000. It comes with Kia’s 5-year or 160,000-kilometer warranty.
