Jetour Auto Philippines recently gathered its loyal T2 SUV owners for a three-day off-road and heritage drive in Ilocos Norte, highlighted by an exciting sand dune challenge at the region’s popular Paoay Sand Dunes. The event, dubbed the Jetour T2 Sand Dunes Experience, combined cultural exploration, long-distance touring, and off-road driving, giving the owners a chance to stretch out the action-oriented capabilities of their rides.
The convoy departed from Jetour’s Quezon Avenue flagship showroom before sunrise on November 28, 2025, embarking on a 13-hour drive up north. Participants experienced extended highway driving before reaching Ilocos Norte, where a program was held, focusing on both vehicle capability and owner camaraderie.

Among the owners present was Aldrin Francisco, a Jetour T2 owner based in Saudi Arabia, who flew back to the Philippines to join the event. Known within the OFW (overseas Filipino workers) community for sharing off-road experiences and technical insights, his participation underscores the growing reach of the Jetour owners’ community beyond local grounds.
The second day’s activity blended tourism and driving challenges. The group visited the Kapurpurawan Rock Formation in Burgos and toured the historic Paoay Church, a UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization) World Heritage Site, before heading to the Paoay Sand Dunes for the main activities. Under the guidance of accredited off-road instructor Leland Pascual, participants tackled deep sand, steep climbs, and high-angle ascents designed to put both man and machine to the test.
A special session gave owners the opportunity to try out more advanced driving techniques, pushing the vehicles further while maintaining safety. The day concluded with sandboarding, sunset photo sessions, and participant feedback sessions.

On the final day, the convoy traveled to Vigan City, another UNESCO World Heritage Site, where owners explored the city’s preserved Spanish-era streets and shared reflections over lunch. Discussions focused on the T2’s versatility, from highway cruising to demanding off-road terrain.
“This Sand Dunes Experience goes beyond just testing the limits of the JETOUR T2. It’s about creating meaningful connections with our owners, celebrating their passion for driving, and showing them the full capability of our vehicles in both thrilling and cultural settings. Seeing their joy and engagement across Ilocos Norte has been truly inspiring,” shared Jetour Auto Philippines Marketing Director Cherry May De Los Santos.
