IsuzuPH launches new 2024 D-MAX with refreshed looks and amenities

Isuzu Philippine Corporation (IPC) has unveiled the new 2024 Isuzu D-MAX, a groundbreaking pickup truck that promises to transform the market with its unique blend of power, durability, and state-of-the-art features. The grand launch, held at the Central Atrium of SM Mall of Asia, showcased various D-MAX models and included a special Isuzu 4×4 Action Playground test drive event from June 20-23, emphasizing the vehicle’s impressive off-road capabilities and new safety features.

Since its inception in 2003, the Isuzu D-MAX has been known for its reliability, durability, and fuel efficiency. The 2024 model upholds this legacy while integrating the latest technological and safety advancements.

The new Isuzu D-MAX features a strong and aggressive design with a new sporty and futuristic exterior. Highlights include a 3-Dimension Front Grille with a gun-metal and black chrome finish, new LED headlamps with redesigned Daytime Running Lights, and redesigned Fog Lamps with Air Curtain to enhance aesthetics and aerodynamics. The look is completed by a new Cargo Sail bed accessory, 18-inch All-Terrain Alloy Wheels with a Matte Dark Gray Metallic finish, and a new Triple-wing LED rear combination lamp.

Inside, the D-MAX boasts a new digital pattern “Miura” design interior, creating a clean and solid structure that fosters emotional harmony. It includes numerous comfort and convenience features, such as a Wireless Charger, 2nd Row Aircon Vents, a new 7-inch Digital MID with a dynamic design, and a new infotainment system available in 10.1-inch and 9-inch versions, both equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Connectivity.

Safety is a top priority in the new Isuzu D-MAX, equipped with Isuzu’s Advanced Driver Assist System (ADAS) featuring a new Gen4 SMART DUO Cam with an enhanced field of view. Additional safety features include a 360-degree Around View Monitor, new Rear Cross Traffic Brake (RCTB), and a first-in-class built-in Digital Video Recorder.

The new D-MAX now includes a Differential Lock system and new Rough Terrain Mode, catering to hardcore 4×4 enthusiasts and enabling the vehicle to tackle challenging terrains.

The new Isuzu D-MAX is powered by the reliable 4JJ3-TCX Blue Power engine, delivering 190PS of maximum power and 450N-m maximum torque. This, combined with a durable chassis and suspension system with exceptional under-chassis protection, ensures long-term performance and reliability.

IPC introduces a new variant, the D-MAX 4×2 LS-E AT, expanding the 4×2 segment. For the D-MAX LS-A, there are two variants: the regular LS-A with a 9-inch infotainment system and the LS-A Plus with a 10-inch infotainment system, 360-degree Around View Monitor, and Digital Video Recorder.

The 2024 Isuzu D-MAX is available in Namibu Orange and the new Biarritz Blue (exclusive to the high-end LS-E variant), along with Onyx Black, Islay Gray, Satin Pearl White, and Splash White. Below is the complete variant lineup and pricing.

Alongside the launch, Isuzu is reviving its Isuzu 4×4 Action Playground, a test course showcasing the D-MAX’s capabilities. The event, running from June 20-23 at SM Mall of Asia, features seven challenging stations. The Action Playground will then tour nationwide, stopping at SM Cebu Seaside from July 5-7 and SM Lanang Davao from July 26-28. This event allows potential buyers to experience the D-MAX’s performance and safety firsthand.

“Over the years, we have continuously introduced numerous advancements to the D-MAX, ensuring it remains true to its core values while evolving to meet the needs and desires of our customers. This latest evolution is the product of listening to the feedback of our customers and dealers, integrating their insights into the design and functionality of this new model.” said IPC President Tetsuya Fujita.
