Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) handed over 56 brand-new Isuzu trucks to Producers Connection Logistics Inc. (PCL), expanding the latter’s company fleet to further improve its operations. Isuzu PH said that this partnership with PCL shows its commitment to supporting companies in achieving operational excellence and sustainability.

PCL, formerly known as Nuville Corporation, has been a logistics company since 1983. It has several facilities, such as in Pasig, Muntinlupa, Manila, Canlubang, Cavite, Parañaque, Batangas, Danao, Cebu, Vietnam, and Dubai. PCL’s newly acquired Isuzu truck fleet is composed of the Isuzu F-Series and the Isuzu N-Series. IPC said that the F-Series will be used for PCL’s heavy-duty operations while the N-Series will be deployed for light to medium-duty transport.

Isuzu partnered with Centro Manufacturing Corporation to ensure that its truck fleet would specifically meet PCL’s logistics needs. Centro conducted the necessary configuration for the body and refrigerated cooling systems, delivering complete solutions for both dry and cold-chain operations.

IPC shared that it has supplied PCL with 22 units of the FVM model and two units of the FVR trucks under the F-Series lineup. These trucks are equipped with Euro IV-compliant Blue Power diesel engines that deliver notable performance while meeting stringent emission standards, according to Isuzu PH.

PCL has also acquired 12 units of the NMR and 20 units of the NLR trucks under Isuzu’s N-Series trucks. Isuzu PH shared that these trucks are designed for maneuverability and fuel efficiency, making them ideal for operations in both busy metropolitan areas and long-haul provincial routes. Of note, the Isuzu N-Series features an Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) for easier and more comfortable driving.

“Our decision to partner with Isuzu reflects our commitment to operational excellence. Isuzu’s proven reliability and strong after-sales support give us confidence that our fleet will remain in peak condition, ensuring uninterrupted service for our clients,” said PCL President and CEO Arturo “Jojo” Villanueva Jr.

PCL is entitled to IPC’s Isuzu Advantage, which is a nationwide after-sales program designed to keep fleets in peak condition for years. Isuzu PH said this program is designed to ensure reliability, minimize downtime, and maximize operational efficiency across all logistics operations.

Operators are empowered through free Driver and Mechanic Training, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to properly maintain their vehicles and prevent costly breakdowns. IPC is also proud and confident that spare parts are always within reach through its Nationwide Parts Availability program. IPC added that for companies operating in far-flung locations, its Mobile Medic Trucks and expert field engineers deliver on-site and roadside assistance, providing immediate support wherever it’s needed.
