The iCaur V27 has picked up an international design accolade ahead of the brand’s Philippine debut. The V27 was named the Best Interior Design Award winner in the Premium Car category at the 2026 Torino Automotive Design Award (TADA), with the recognition presented on September 11 at Teatro Regio in Turin, Italy.
TADA’s official results confirm the V27 as the premium-car category’s interior design winner. For iCaur, the award puts the spotlight on the V27’s cabin and its “Interstellar Cockpit” concept. The company says the interior combines the upright driving position and visibility associated with a boxy SUV with a cleaner, more open cabin designed around comfort and functionality.
A key element is the “Interstellar Porthole” dual panoramic sunroof, which is intended to increase the sense of space inside the cabin. iCaur says its laminated glass can block up to 99.9% of ultraviolet rays.
The V27 also brings a sizeable digital interface to the cabin, with a 15.4-inch 2.5K central touchscreen powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 processor. The display handles navigation, infotainment, and climate control, while iCaur’s AIMOGA intelligent-mobility system forms part of the brand’s approach to vehicle-user interaction.
Practicality is another part of the V27’s interior proposition. iCaur highlights 49 storage compartments and rear seats that can fold completely flat, giving the SUV greater flexibility for passengers and cargo.
The recognition was timely as iCaur prepares to enter the Philippine market this October. The brand’s initial local lineup will consist of the V23 and V27, with the latter positioned as a range-extended electric vehicle (REEV). Omoda & Jaecoo Philippines will distribute iCaur locally, although the brand is expected to operate through independent dealerships.
For Philippine buyers, the V27’s award provides an early look at one of the models that will form iCaur’s opening act in the market. However, local specifications, pricing, and equipment may differ from those offered in other markets and remain subject to official confirmation.
The V27 is not iCaur’s first design-related recognition this year. The smaller V23 received recognition at the 2026 Red Dot Award: Design Concept, giving the brand another international design credential ahead of its Philippine arrival.
With the V27 now carrying a TADA interior-design award, attention will turn to how iCaur translates its design-focused approach into its first local models—and, ultimately, how the V23 and V27 will be positioned when the brand officially opens for business in the Philippine market this year.
