Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) has further solidified its long-running partnership with the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) by serving as the sporting organization’s official mobility partner for the first-ever FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup. The event was held in the Philippines from November 21 to December 7, 2025 and was mobilized by a fleet of HMPH’s most popular models.

As part of its support, HMPH carried out a Vehicles-in-Kind (VIK) turnover to chauffeur tournament officials, athletes, and technical teams throughout the duration of the sporting event. The initiative ensured reliable and comfortable transportation across venues, contributing to the smooth staging of the historic competition.

The turnover marks another milestone in Hyundai’s global relationship with FIFA, which started in 1999 when Hyundai Motor Company became an official global partner of the world football governing body. Over two decades later, the collaboration has grown into one of the most enduring partnerships in international football, spanning multiple tournaments and host countries.

For the Philippine-hosted FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup, HMPH deployed a diverse fleet consisting of the Santa Fe, Tucson, Kona Hybrid, and several Staria variants. These vehicles were selected to meet the logistical demands of an international sporting event, providing dependable mobility for various tournament stakeholders.

“We are honored to support FIFA as they bring world-class futsal to the Philippines for the very first time. Hyundai has been a proud global partner of FIFA for 25 years, and this local turnover is a meaningful extension of that legacy. By providing dependable mobility through our latest models, we hope to contribute to a successful tournament and to the continued growth of football and futsal in the country.” shared Cecil Capacete, Managing Director of HMPH.

Beyond logistics, the initiative underscores the Korean carmaker’s belief in the power of sports to unite communities and inspire progress. The vehicle turnover demonstrates the brand’s global vision of “Progress for Humanity,” extending its mission of mobility beyond the dealership and into platforms that promote cultural exchange, inclusivity, and international cooperation.
