Hariphil Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI), the official distributor of Hyundai Trucks and Buses in the Philippines, reaffirmed its position as a pioneer of innovation and sustainability at the Hyundai Truck and Bus Mobility EV-olution Expo held at the Filinvest Tent, Alabang.

The event underscored HARI’s forward-looking vision and its role as a vital enabler of the country’s future-ready and resilient transport ecosystem. Anchored on its commitment to be a “Partner in Every Way,” HARI presented transformative mobility solutions designed to drive business growth and support the evolving needs of Filipino entrepreneurs.

A key highlight of the Expo was the unveiling of HARI’s initial lineup of electric commercial vehicles (ECVs), headlined by the Hyundai Mighty Electric—a light-duty truck equipped with a 120-kW motor and a 114.5-kWh battery. It delivers a range of 260 km and a fast-charging capability of just 71 minutes. With customizable applications through Centro Manufacturing Corporation, the Mighty Electric is ideal for a wide range of commercial needs.

Also making its debut was the Hyundai County Electric, offering quiet, clean, and efficient transport for people. Powered by a 150-kW motor and a 128-kWh battery, it provides a range of 303 km and recharges fully in just 72 minutes.

In addition, HARI introduced the HARI Cab, a locally assembled, diesel-powered utility vehicle featuring a Euro 4 D4CC engine and best-in-class specs—demonstrating the company’s commitment to both innovation and local job generation.

HARI Vice Chairman, President, and CEO Ms. Maria Fe Perez-Agudo led the Expo’s opening and welcomed distinguished guests from Hyundai Motor Company Korea and the Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (EVAP).

“We are here not just to witness the future, but to shape it,” said Ms. Agudo. “This is our drive—to empower businesses through smart, sustainable mobility solutions.”

The Expo also saw the launch of the Byahenyo Program, HARI’s flagship initiative that empowers local entrepreneurs by bridging smart mobility with smart business.

“The Byahenyo is not just the hero behind the wheel — they are the driving force behind thriving enterprises,” Ms. Agudo emphasized.

Through strategic programs and pioneering vehicle solutions, HARI continues to align with the national vision for a more sustainable and inclusive transport future.
