Geely Philippines officially launches all-new Geely GX3 Pro

Geely GX3 ProFurther expanding its local lineup, Geely Philippines officially launched the all-new Geely GX3 Pro. Aiming to shake up the subcompact crossover segment of the market and pit against the Toyota Raize, the all-new GX3 Pro is targeting the young and entry-level market with its price point of just P778,000 for the 5-speed manual transmission S variant.

“This model holds a strategic significance for Geely, as it aims to capture an entirely new customer base, particularly Gen Z. With its enticing introductory pricing and an emphasis on an enjoyable driving experience, the GX3 Pro is poised to play a pivotal role in expanding our reach and achieving five-digit annual sales figures,” said Geely President and CEO Yugo Kiyofuji.

Geely GX3 ProThe GX3 Pro is ready for any crossover duties with its 185mm ground clearance, while its overall dimension of just 4,005mm long, 1,760mm wide, and 1,575mm tall would make it an ideal city mover. Wheelbase of the latest Geely model spans 2,480mm from the front to rear tires.

As previewed at the 2023 Manila International Auto Show, the Geely GX3 Pro features simple yet sophisticated exterior design highlighted by its front fascia that has similar styling cues with its four-door sedan brethren, Emgrand. Both variants come with projector halogen headlamps and LED DRLs. The top variant edges the base model with auto headlight function. Adding to the crossover stance of the GX3 Pro are its Satin Silver roof rails and a set of 16-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 205/60/R16 tires.

Geely GX3 ProStepping inside, the GX3 offers ample passenger space for up to five occupants. Drivers are treated with analog speedometer and tachometer gauges while vital driving information is shown via its 3.5-inch multi info display. Taking center of the dash is its 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with screen mirroring function via CarbitLink. Exclusive to the top-of-the-line Comfort variant is a sunroof which allows natural lighting into the cabin. As for hauling needs, the newest Geely crossover also offers cargo space of up to 500 liters should hauling needs arise.

The all-new GX3 Pro is powered by a 1.5-liter inline-four cylinder, 16-valve, DOHC with DVVT engine. The four-cylinder mill of the latest Geely is rated to output 102 hp and 142 Nm of torque. Adapting to various driving situations, the top spec GX3 Pro Comfort variant, equipped with a continuously variable transmission (CVT), is available with three driving modes of Normal, Eco, and Sport.

For better maneuverability, both the S and Comfort variants of the GX3 Pro come with a reverse camera with guide lines, and backup sensor as standard features. As for safety, driver and passenger airbags as well as ABS system with electronic brakeforce distribution and brake assist are also standard across variants. Adding to its value, the GX3 Pro is equipped with disc brakes on all fours, across variants. The CVT-equipped variant edges its base model counterpart with traction and stability control, hill start assist, hill descent control, and cruise control.

As for pricing, the all-new Geely GX3 Pro is priced at P778,000 for the 5-speed manual transmission S variant and P878,000 for the CVT Comfort variant. Geely Philippines is offering the GX3 Pro at an introductory pricing of P698,000 for the S, and P798,000 for the top-of-the-line Comfort, P80,000 off its original prices. Color availability for the all-new GX3 Pro are Red, White, Blue, and Grey.

Along with the official launch of the all-new Geely GX3 Pro is the announcement of the Geely Philippines’ G-SERV+ after-sales service.
