Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation and Centro Manufacturing Corporation have teamed up to introduce two new commercial vehicle models – the Fuso F-resh Ref Van and the Fuso F-lift Crane Truck. The unveiling brought together company executives, dealers, business partners, and customers as both companies highlighted their ongoing technical collaboration in the local transport and logistics industry.

The F-resh Ref Van is built on the Fuso Canter platform, compatible with the FE71, FE73, FE84, and FE85 variants. It features Centro Nippon Fruehauf Cooltech’s updated C-Temp cooling system, which offers improved insulation and refined airflow management to maintain stable temperature in demanding conditions. The system allows the refrigerated van to accommodate food distributors, pharmaceutical logistics, and other temperature-sensitive operations.

The F-lift Crane Truck, meanwhile, is based on the Fuso Canter FE85 chassis. The model integrates a Tadano TM-ZE 290 crane with a telescopic boom rated to carry loads up to three tons. The crane features outriggers, a load indicator system, and centralized controls, making the unit suitable for construction firms, utilities, and light industrial use.

During the launch event, Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation President and CEO Yosuke Nishi, outlined the company’s continued work in developing functional, business-focused commercial vehicle solutions for the local market. The executive noted that both the F-resh Ref Van and F-lift Crane Truck were created in response to logistics, construction, and cold-chain operations.

Centro Manufacturing Corporation President Raphael Juan also shared about the engineering work behind the two units. He noted that Centro’s role focused on truck body development, particularly in aligning structural designs with Fuso’s platform. Juan emphasized that both models underwent extensive testing, aimed at meeting the day-to-day requirements of small and large enterprises handling temperature-sensitive goods and heavy construction lifting.

The launch marks another joint project between Fuso and Centero. Both companies stated that they intend to continue developing commercial vehicles that address the needs of local logistics and transport businesses.
