Ford Philippines has raised the bar once again in the pickup and SUV segments with the official launch of the New Ranger Sport Special Edition and Everest Sport Special Edition, both designed to elevate everyday driving and adventure with distinct styling and functional upgrades. These latest additions to Ford’s lineup cater to Filipino motorists seeking performance, practicality, and head-turning design.

Ranger Sport Special Edition: Built Tougher, Smarter

Starting at ₱1,529,000, the new Ford Ranger Sport Special Edition builds upon the popular Ranger Sport variant by introducing rugged enhancements that improve its utility and aesthetic. It features a long leg sports bar that extends from the cab to the rear—providing additional structural support for hauling uneven or heavy cargo, while giving the pickup a bolder, more assertive profile.

Inside, Ford addresses customer demand with retractable cup holders now integrated into the instrument panel—a simple yet highly practical addition for daily driving.

Under the hood, the Ranger Sport Special Edition is powered by a 2.0L Single Turbo Diesel engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission, delivering a solid 170 PS and 405 Nm of torque. It is available in both 4×2 and 4×4 configurations, ready to conquer both city streets and off-road terrain.

The vehicle rides on 18-inch alloy wheels with front ventilated disc and rear drum brakes, supported by a double wishbone front and leaf spring rear suspension system for a stable and smooth drive. A driver-focused cockpit features an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the seamless connectivity of FordPass, offering remote lock/unlock, engine start with pre-cooling, vehicle locator, and more.

The Ranger Sport Special Edition is available in Absolute Black, Arctic White, Blue Lightning, and Meteor Grey, and includes a 5-year vehicle warranty for added peace of mind.

Everest Sport Special Edition: Rule the Road in Style

For SUV lovers, the new Ford Everest Sport Special Edition makes a bold entrance with aesthetic enhancements that amplify its sporty persona. Priced from ₱2,194,000, this limited-run model is offered in Aluminum Metallic and Snowflake White Pearl, and exudes street-smart elegance with black roof and spoiler decals, 20-inch black alloy wheels with red inserts, and bold “Everest” hood lettering.

Designed to impress while delivering performance and comfort, the Everest Sport Special Edition is equipped with a 2.0L Turbo Diesel engine generating 170 PS and 405 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and a 4×2 drivetrain.

It retains the Everest Sport’s signature features like the C-Clamp LED daytime running lamps, a plush cabin with leather/synthetic leather Sport seats, and a 10-inch color touchscreen with SYNC 4A, plus wireless charging and a power liftgate for added convenience.

Safety remains paramount, with standard features including 7 airbags, Electronic Stability Program with Traction Control, Hill Launch Assist, Roll Over Mitigation, and an adjustable speed limiter—ideal for family road trips or city commutes.

The Everest Sport Special Edition also includes a 5-year vehicle warranty and FordPass connectivity, matching the seamless ownership experience of the Ranger.

Test Drive the Future

Both the Ranger and Everest Sport Special Editions will be on public display at the Auto Focus Summer Test Drive Festival from May 8 to 11, 2025, at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds. Ford invites enthusiasts and families alike to experience the enhanced capability, style, and technology these special editions bring.
