Ford sells over 14K units for first half of 2023

Ford Philippines sales for the first half of the year breached the 14,000-unit mark.

The American automaker’s local distributor said that its overall retail performance is at 13,838 units —reflecting a 55-percent growth versus the same period in 2022.

Leading the company’s sales push is the next-generation Ford Ranger as a total of 5,436 examples were delivered to buyers for January-June 2023. The addition of the Raptor variant provided additional strength in the nameplate’s retail output with nearly 600 units handed over to clients.

The next-generation Ford Territory solidified its stance of being the best-selling small sport utility vehicle in the country, after the model sold 4,493 units. Per Ford Philippines, the next-generation Territory already breached the 2,500-unit milestone in less than three months after being introduced in the market.

In terms of percentage, the next-generation Ford Everest showed the biggest growth, enjoying a 503-percent jump over the last year’s first half sales performance. Ford Philippines that for the full six months of 2023, the midsize SUV already rolled out 3,786 units to customers.

The three Ford models are packaged with a five-year warranty.

Earlier, Ford Philippines has launched new programs initiatives to provide ease and convenience for its customer base.

Those who prefer to have their vehicles serviced in a faster and more efficient way than regular maintenance may choose the Express Service option while clients who want their Ford vehicles to be serviced without interrupting their day may opt for the Pickup and Delivery program.

“These milestones testify to our commitment to enhance the Ford ownership experience with vehicles and services that our customers need and deserve,” Ford Philippines Managing Director Michael Allen Breen was quoted as saying.
