The Everest is Ford Philippines’s contender in the hotly contested local mid-size SUV segment. Now, the American blue oval brand is beefing up the Everest lineup with a surprise addition in the form of the Ford Everest Wildtrak.
The Ford Everest Wildtrak combines the features of the tried-and-true Everest SUV with the rugged design elements and premium details of the Ford Ranger Wildtrak. It derives its motivation from a 2.0-liter diesel engine, available in single-turbo and twin-turbo versions.
The former is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and is rated at 170 hp and 405 Nm of torque. The latter, meanwhile, puts out 210 hp and 500 Nm, which is controlled via a 10-speed automatic.
On the exterior, the Everest Wildtrak is outfitted with Bolder Grey-finished Wildtrak-specific grille, bumpers, and fender flares. These are complemented by equipment such as LED headlights with an adaptive front lighting system, 20-inch alloy wheels, recovery hooks, a panoramic moonroof, and a roof rail. A tailgate-mounted “Wildtrak” badge completes the style.
The interior of the Everest Wildtrak is highlighted by orange stitching on the steering wheel, dashboard, doors, and armrests. Moreover, Ford equipped the SUV with its SYNC infotainment system software, which features a 12-inch touch-screen head unit with connectivity, navigation, and entertainment options.
Moving further, the Ford Everest Wildtrak also comes with standard driver assist features. These include adaptive cruise control, pre-collision assist with pedestrian detection, evasive steer assist, lane keeping aid, blind spot Information system with cross traffic alert, among others. Ford Philippines says that the 4×2 variant of the Everest Wildtrak is the only 4×4 Everest in the range to feature this full suite of driver assist technologies.
According to Ford, the pricing of the Everest starts at P2,379,000 for the 2.0L Turbo 4×2. The Ford Everest Wildtrak 2.0L Bi-Turbo 4×4 variant, on the other hand, is available at P2,640,000. The brand also laid out the available colors, which include Luxe Yellow (limited units), Blue Lightning, Absolute Black, and Meteor Grey. A premium color, Snowflake White Pearl, is also available for P20,000.

Beyond the Everest Wildtrak, Ford also mentioned its available promos for its other models. Interested buyers may avail monthly payments for as low as P25,439 for the Ranger and P30,884 for the Everest with a 20% downpayment through BPI financing. Additionally, cash discounts are up for grabs across Ford’s popular models, including a P70,000 discount for the Everest, P220,000 for the Territory, and a P500,000 discount for the Bronco.
