Inside, the Dongfeng Vigo EV has a minimalist interior, highlighted by a clutter-free dashboard layout, and can accommodate up to five occupants. The cabin features PVC leather materials with stitching on the panel and door trims. It also has ambient lighting, providing texture and color to the overall cabin.

The Vigo EV has an 8.88-inch color LCD instrument cluster alongside a massive 12.8-inch infotainment touchsreen at the center of the dashboard, which supports Apple CarPlay. Comfort features include smart key entry, a 50-watt wireless phone charging pad, a six-speaker audio system, and split folding rear seats for extra storage and better functionality.

Autocar’s Take

Dongfeng Philippines launched the Vigo, a five-seater EV crossover that comes with a striking design combined with a functional interior and smart tech package. Design-wise, the Vigo EV looks assertive and composed, along with the right amount of swag.

One of its unique exterior features is its two-part rear door design. The upper section opens upward like a conventional tailgate, while the lower section drops downward horizontally like a pickup truck’s tailgate. This makes the Dongfeng Vigo EV a versatile crossover, as the split rear door added overall functionality to the vehicle, as it can quickly transform into a bench that you could sit on while people watching or chatting with your friends at an open parking lot.
