Denza Philippines continues to expand its model lineup as the B8 plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) made its official launch in the country alongside its smaller sibling, the B5 PHEV. This means that the B8 and B5 join Denza’s model lineup in the Philippines, which includes the D9 seven-seater minivan.
The 2026 Denza B8 PHEV is a full-size SUV that features an aggressive and commanding exterior, which resembles the design philosophy applied in the smaller B5 PHEV. The B8’s assertive presence is brought about by its large front bumper that features black and silver trims. The wide grille and the sculpted hood further add to the B8’s aggressive exterior, while the LED headlights and daytime running lights balance out the front fascia by giving a touch of modern appeal.
The B8 PHEV’s side profile also comes with a chiseled design, similar to the Denza B5. The B8 has wide fender flares and door trims, giving its side a bold finish. It also has flush door handles, power-folding side mirrors, roof rails, a step board, and a set of 20-inch wheels.

The rear is equipped with distinctive LED taillights, while the large bumper is integrated with silver trim, adding texture to the Denza B8 PHEV. Similar to the B5, the B8 PHEV also has a full-size spare tire cover. However, the one seen on the B8 appears to be more refined and less rugged-looking than the spare tire cover on the B5.
The 2026 Denza B8 PHEV is offered in two variants, Dynamic and Premium. The B8 Dynamic has a seating capacity of seven occupants, with a 2+3+2 seat configuration. The B8 Premium, on the other hand, can accommodate six occupants with a 2+2+2 seat configuration, with the middle row featuring captain seats.
Denza said that the B8 PHEV features several Seat Function Modes: Nap Mode, Bed Mode, Cargo Mode, and Easy Entry. Under Nap Mode, the front passenger + second row form lounge-style seating. The Bed Mode features the second + third rows to fold flat, while the Cargo Mode offers one-touch folding for max cargo capacity, and the Easy Entry allows the second-row seats to tilt for easier access to the third row.

The B8 PHEV also comes with a 17.3-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 360-degree view monitor, a wireless smartphone charger, and a remote start. Both the Dynamic and Premium B8 trims also come standard with Denza’s DiPilot advanced driver assistance systems, which include features such as the adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, rear cross traffic alert, and intelligent cruise control, among others.
Same with the B5, the Denza B8 features “Leopard Turn,” a special turning or maneuvering trick to help it turn in tight spaces. It enables tight U-turns, right-angle turns, and obstacle-limited maneuvers in a single move without repeated reversing.
The 2026 Denza B8 PHEV has a 2.0-liter gasoline engine paired with dual motors and a 36.8 kWh battery. It also comes with a four-wheel-drive configuration, and it generates 612 horsepower and 760 Nm of torque. Denza said that the B8 can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds, and can do a combined maximum range of 1,040 kilometers (NEDC). On the other hand, the Denza B8 can deliver a pure electric range of 115 kilometers (NEDC).
The Denza B8 PHEV is available in the following exterior color options: Nebula Silver, Eclipse Black, Dawn Gold, Emerald Green, and Alpine White.
Autocar’s Take
The B8 plug-in hybrid electric vehicle further expands Denza’s model lineup in the Philippines. It is a full-size SUV that’s integrated with an aggressive exterior, a premium interior, and smart tech features. This makes it a competitive challenger that can go up against the likes of the Toyota Land Cruiser.
However, what makes the Denza B8 stand out is that it is a PHEV, which means it has more power and is regarded as more efficient. As such, the Denza B8 could shake up the premium SUV market in the Philippines. The B8 joins other Denza models currently available in the Philippines, which are the D9 minivan and the B5.
