BYD Cars Philippines is all set to expand its model lineup yet again, as it prepares for the official launch of the Atto 2 and the new Seal 5 on July 28, 2026. Ahead of the official launch, BYD announced that reservations are now open for the all-new Atto 2 and refreshed Seal 5 at BYD dealerships nationwide.

The BYD Atto 2, which was first previewed in the Philippines last April, is set to become the newest addition to the car brand’s growing lineup. It is available in three variants: Atto 2 EV Premium, Atto 2 DM-i Premium, and Atto 2 DM-i Dynamic. As such, BYD PH is offering the Atto 2 as a pure electric vehicle (EV) or as a plug-in hybrid (PHEV). The car brand opted to offer two powertrain options to give interested individuals the flexibility to choose the powertrain that best suits their lifestyle.

Back in April, BYD shared that the Atto 2 is powered by a 51.1 kWh Blade Battery, with an estimated range of around 345 kilometers. Dimension-wise, it measures about 4,310 mm long, 1,830 mm wide, and 1,675 mm tall, with a 2,620 mm wheelbase, making it well-suited for city use.

The other BYD vehicle that’s now open for reservations is the Seal 5 DM-i, building on the success of the current model with refreshed styling and enhanced features. The new BYD Seal 5 DM-i is offered in two variants: Dynamic and Essential. It is powered by BYD’s DM-i technology, which is said to provide an efficient and practical mobility solution for first-time car owners, families, and fleet operators.

The official pricing for the Atto 2 and the Seal 5 DM-i are yet to be shared by BYD PH. The car brand said that it will be announced at their launch on July 28 at the Trinoma Activity Center, Quezon City. Customers interested in reserving the BYD Atto 2 or BYD Seal 5 are encouraged to visit their nearest BYD dealership. Interested individuals may also visit this link to register their interest.
