Filipino racing talent Bianca Bustamante is set to make her debut in the 2025 GB3 Championship at the iconic Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit on April 26–27.
The 20-year-old driver joins Elite Motorsport for her first full campaign in a mixed-gender single-seater championship since her karting days. Bustamante enters GB3 following an extensive off-season program, combining physical conditioning and test sessions across several circuits—including Silverstone and Spa-Francorchamps.
This year also marks the introduction of the new Tatuus MSV GB3-025, a more powerful and advanced race car featuring a 30 bhp power increase, 35 percent more downforce, DRS (drag reduction system), and improved mechanical grip with wider tyres. It meets new class-leading safety standards and raises the level of competition in the series.
To prepare, Bustamante trained at the renowned 321 Perform facility in Annecy, France, and conducted multiple test days with Elite Motorsport in both previous- and current-generation GB3 cars.
The GB3 Championship is the UK’s premier single-seater series and a crucial step toward FIA Formula 3. Round 1 of the 2025 season will feature three races and runs alongside the British GT Championship.

“We’ve prepared intensely for this moment with numerous tests and a focused training program. I’ve been pushing myself physically and mentally to be ready for this step up to GB3. This is my most important season yet as I work towards a future in Formula 3, and I’m grateful to Elite Motorsport and my sponsors for their continued belief in me. Silverstone is just the beginning,” shared Bustamante.
Fans can follow the action live on the official GB3 livestream and Sky Sports F1. For more information, visit www.gb-3.net.
