Ayala’s ACMobility will continue to be the official distributor of Kia vehicles in the Philippines after it signed an extension agreement with Kia Corporation. Top executives from both companies sign an extension of their distributor agreement alongside dealer principals and bank partners.
Kia Philippines shared that the said renewal secures a full decade of partnership. The car brand noted that the 10-year or decade-long partnership is a historic first for Kia PH, solidifying the trust and momentum that Kia has made in the Philippine automotive industry.
“This partnership extension represents a long-term commitment to the Filipino drivers who have embraced the Kia brand. Our growth proves that Filipinos are looking for the kind of purposeful innovation that Kia provides, and we’re excited to keep that momentum going,” said ACMobility CEO Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala.

The renewed partnership is a testament to the work that Kia PH has done through the years. In fact, Kia PH managed to take home the Regional Distributor of the Year award at the 2026 Kia Global Distributors Convention held in Australia. Kia PH emerged as the top distributor in the whole Asia-Pacific region in 2025, marking the first time it has received the said award.
Kia PH also had a notable 2025 sales performance, recording sales that increased from 6,692 units in 2024 to 7,810 units in 2025, positioning Kia as one of the fastest-growing mainstream car brands in the country. The Korean car brand shared that the Kia Carnival was among the sales drivers for Kia in 2025, posting a 30 percent year-on-year growth.
This year, ACMobility shared that Kia PH aims to become a “leading automotive brand while supporting its global electrification strategy.” To do this, Kia PH will be expanding its model lineup in the hybrid electric vehicle segment. Moreover, Kia PH will strengthen its electrified lineup with the arrival of the Kia EV5, with the brand having already opened early reservations for the said electric vehicle.

Autocar’s Take
ACMobility will continue to be the official distributor of Kia vehicles in the Philippines, which is a deserving extension for the company, as it has been continuously finding ways to make Kia a competitive brand in the tightly contested Philippines automotive industry.
Kia PH’s extenstion deal is a testament to the trust that Kia Corporation has in ACMobility. For sure, ACMobility will continue its drive on delivering quality and competitive vehicles in the local market, which will further strengthen the brand’s presence in the Philippines.
Among the steps that Kia PH will be taking is launching the EV5, a compact electric crossover SUV that features a modern and stylish exterior design. It comes with a driving range of up to 550 kilometers on a full charge, and it is powered by an 88.1 kWh battery.
