Japanese automotive parts brand, Aisin, entered this year’s Manila Auto Salon with the soft launch of its latest car battery line, making its first step into the local battery market. During the auto show, held from November 13 to 16, 2025 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, it previewed the Aisin Battery, which is scheduled for official market release in the Philippines in Q1 of 2026.

While full technical details have yet to be revealed, the company confirmed that the new product will be produced in Malaysia, and is intended to provide a durable, OEM-grade option for a wide range of vehicles. According to Aisin, the battery line was developed to meet the growing demand for dependable power solutions as more modern vehicles require stable electrical performance.

With the soft launch now complete, Aisin is expected to release more detailed information about its new battery line in the coming months reading up to its commercial introduction.

Beyond the product preview, Aisin’s booth offered interactive games and activities throughout the auto show. These drew steady food traffic and engaged both car enthusiasts and families visiting the exhibit halls. Freebies were also distributed to participants, adding a lighter dynamic to the presence at the annual motoring event.

For Aisin, its participation at the 2025 Manila Auto Salon is part of a broader effort to strengthen its foothold in the local market. The company confirmed that additional products are set for launch in 2026 as it continues expanding its lineup of automotive solutions for Filipino motorists.

Since 1965, Aisin has established itself as a global supplier of original automotive equipment parts. To date, it operates manufacturing facilities across Asia, including Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and China. The introduction of the Aisin Battery marks an expansion of its product portfolio in the Philippine automotive aftermarket scene, where the brand is already known for components such as brakes, lubricants, maintenance items, and drivetrain systems.
