Geely Motor Philippines (GMP) organized a battery electric vehicle (BEV) technical session for EX2 owners. The event is part of the recurring activities that GMP holds for its customers long after the initial sale.
Geely Motor PH said that the BEV technical session allows EX2 owners to have direct access to the brand’s technical team while at the same time establishing a stronger connection to the growing Geely community in the Philippines. The BEV technical session was led by GMP Technical, Training, and Warranty Manager Arsenio Chavez Jr.
The car brand said that Chavez discussed BEV ownership and walked owners through the warranty process for their vehicles. He also allowed owners to learn more about the features and technology of their EX2 and to raise questions directly with the technical team.

“Our EX2 owners are among the first in the country to make the switch to electric driving with Geely, and we want them to feel fully supported at every stage of ownership. Sessions like this allow us to share practical knowledge about their vehicles and to make sure they know exactly how our warranty and after-sales support work for them,” said Chavez.
The BEV technical session is a good initiative from GMP, as the EX2 is regarded as its best-selling vehicle that helped the brand sell over 1,000 units in September. As a review, Geely’s notable sales run in September is driven by the Geely EX2, registering 470 units sold.
Aside from the technical session, GMP also gave EX2 owners a first look at the Geely Monjaro EM-i, which was previously announced to make its Philippine debut before the end of October. Described by Geely as its “Executive Performance Flagship,” the Monjaro EM-i is a D-segment (midsize) SUV that combines a plug-in hybrid powertrain with premium-oriented features, intelligent technology, and all-wheel drive.

Geely Motor PH also announced that the EX2 will be available with a pink exterior color, limited to 200 units. Furthermore, GMP confirmed its participation in the Autofocus Test Drive Festival, which will run from November 12 to 15, 2026, at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds.
Autocar’s Take
Geely Motor Philippines is showing that it values its clients even after the initial sale, as it organized a gathering of EX2 owners to discuss BEV technical know-how. By organizing a BEV technical session, GMP can give EX2 owners more information on how to maximize their BEVs, which will be beneficial for the overall ownership experience. EX2 owners can also raise their questions directly to Geely PH’s technical team, which creates faster communication on certain issues. This also shows that Geely wants to further expand its growing community in the Philippines, especially among those who bought the EX2, a BEV that has led the brand’s notable September sales run.
