GWM Philippines has hosted a car meet that gathered more than 50 GWM owners in Cagayan De Oro (CDO). The event, dubbed Great Wall Meets CDO, was held in collaboration with GWM CDO at Amaya View Resort.
The car meet brought together GWM owners from across Northern Mindanao, representing various models from the GWM lineup, including the Cannon 4×4 Pick-up, Haval H9 4×4 7-Seater SUV, and Haval H7 Hi4 PHEV SUV. It also invited individuals who are soon-to-be GWM owners, giving them an opportunity to experience that car brand’s growing community.
GWM PH said that the gathering allowed owners to connect, share their experiences, and exchange stories about their vehicles and journeys with GWM. The Chinese car brand also took the opportunity to meet GWM owners personally and listen to their experiences firsthand.
As stated, the event was held in CDO, which marked the first Great Wall Meets held outside Metro Manila. GWM PH added that this reflects the car brand’s efforts to strengthen its relationship with customers and engage more closely with its growing owner community across different parts of the country.

“Cagayan de Oro was a natural choice for us to bring our first Great Wall Meets outside Metro Manila. It is home to one of our strongest GWM communities, with customers who have shown tremendous enthusiasm and support for the brand,” said GWM PH Brand Head Dax Avenido.
“More than showcasing our vehicles, however, Great Wall Meets is really about saying thank you to our customers. We want them to know that we value their trust, their experiences, and the stories they share with us. Seeing more than 50 owners come together in Cagayan de Oro reinforces that GWM is gradually building something bigger than a product following—we are growing a community of owners who share a passion for their vehicles and the experiences that come with them,” Avenido added.
Aside from gathering GWM owners, the event also featured a closer look at the GWM Haval H7 PHEV, allowing attendees to learn more about the model and to see it up close in the metal.
