Bajaj Philippines has officially introduced the Wego P5009, which is the brand’s first electric three-wheeler. Bajaj said that the Wego P5009 is built to deliver practical performance, convenience, and savings for everyday mobility.
One of the notable features of the Bajaj Wego P5009 is its electric range. Bajaj claims that the Wego P5009 can deliver a range of 212 kilometers on a single full charge. This allows it to travel farther and to be driven more, giving drivers more freedom for their daily journeys.
Aside from having over 200 kilometers of electric range, the Wego P5009 comes with four driving modes: Eco, Power, Climb, and Park Assist. Bajaj claims that the four driving modes offer flexibility for different driving needs, allowing drivers to have the most optimal power delivery.
The Bajaj Wego P5009 is also integrated with a 9.2 kWh battery and a 4.5 kW motor. Its electric powertrain is said to be built for “reliable everyday performance,” giving drivers the power they need for their daily routes.
In terms of charging, Bajaj claims that the Wego P5009 can be fully charged in 4.5 hours. As such, Bajaj added that the Wego P5009 can efficiently recharge and get ready for the next journey, allowing drivers to plan trips more effectively.
The Wego P5009 is also said to be big on savings. Bajaj shared that with its 9.2 kWh battery, P15 electricity rate, and 212-kilometer range, the Wego P5009 can run for approximately P0.80 per kilometer. As such, the brand claims that the Wego P5009 is an efficient electric three-wheeler that can yield more savings and earnings.
The Bajaj Wego P5009 electric three-wheeler is available with an introductory price of P329,888. Upon purchase of the three-wheeler, the battery, motor, and vehicle are covered by a 36-month or 50,000-kilometer warranty, whichever comes first, giving every “Ka-Bajaj” added confidence and peace of mind.
