Chevrolet Philippines is giving owners a timely reason to bring their vehicles in for maintenance as the rainy season continues, with a nationwide after-sales promo offering 20% off preventive maintenance service (PMS) parts and labor until October.

Called “Chevrolet Prepair for Rainy Days,” the campaign from Hariphil Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI), Chevrolet’s official distributor in the Philippines, also includes a complimentary 64-point full vehicle check-up. The offer runs from September 1 to October 31 and is intended to help owners stay on top of essential maintenance, regardless of whether their vehicles remain under warranty.

The promo covers eligible Chevrolet models from model year 2012 onward. The list includes the Suburban, Tahoe, Corvette, Camaro, Trailblazer, Colorado, Orlando, Spark, Captiva, Tracker, Trax, Cruze, Sail, and Spin.

Owners can avail themselves of the offer at participating HARI-authorized Chevrolet dealerships nationwide. The listed locations include Chevrolet Las Piñas, Makati, Commonwealth, Cainta, Pampanga, Isabela, Bacolod, Dagupan, Baguio, CamSur, Ilocos Norte, Cebu, and Davao.

Customers may either walk in or schedule an appointment. A valid Certificate of Registration/Official Receipt (CR/OR) or Service Passport must be presented when the vehicle is brought in for service.

HARI Vice Chairman, President, and CEO Maria Fe Perez-Agudo said the rainy season can bring added challenges for motorists, citing road works, heavy traffic, and unpredictable road conditions as reasons why regular vehicle maintenance becomes even more important.

The campaign is particularly relevant for Chevrolet owners who may have been putting off scheduled maintenance. Beyond the discount on PMS parts and labor, the 64-point inspection gives customers an opportunity to have their vehicles checked across a wider range of components before they face more demanding road conditions.

However, the 20% discount applies only to eligible PMS parts and labor. The promo cannot be combined with other discounts or offers for the same transaction. Dealer-initiated programs involving freebies or additional services that do not constitute price discounts may be offered separately.

Owners with eligible vehicles have a limited window to take advantage of the offer. For motorists dealing with wet roads and changing driving conditions, keeping up with routine maintenance remains a straightforward way to prepare for the season and keep daily driving less stressful, especially before the next downpour.

Autocar’s Take

The American bowtie brand’s rainy-season promotion makes sense because preventive maintenance is easy to postpone until something goes wrong. The 20% discount on PMS parts and labor is useful on its own, but the free 64-point vehicle check-up is the more interesting part. It gives owners a chance to catch potential concerns before wet roads, traffic, and road works make an existing problem more troublesome.

The model-year coverage is also broad, extending to Chevrolet vehicles from 2012 onward. For owners who have kept an older Chevrolet running, this is a practical opportunity to give the car a once-over without waiting for a breakdown.
