Evro has surpassed 100,000 users, marking a significant milestone for the electric vehicle charging platform as EV adoption continues to gain ground in the Philippines.

The digital platform, which serves as the official partner app of the ACMobility EV charging network, said the milestone reinforces its position as the country’s largest and most connected EV charging app. Open to EV owners across brands, Evro is designed to make charging easier by allowing users to locate stations, check real-time charger availability, monitor sessions, and handle payments through a single platform.

The platform has also supported more than 100 unique EV types across multiple brands nationwide. According to Evro, charging sessions through its network have helped avoid an estimated 2,339 tons of carbon emissions. The company equates this figure to the annual emissions of 546 gasoline-powered passenger vehicles.

For EV drivers, one of the platform’s key features is its nationwide station finder. More than 430 EV charging hubs registered with the Department of Energy are listed on the platform, giving users a broader view of available charging infrastructure as they plan their journeys.

Evro is also positioning itself as a tool for businesses and charge point operators (CPOs). Charging providers such as ACMobility, Shell Recharge, and Gigawatt Power Inc. can integrate their stations into the platform, allowing them to reach Evro’s growing community of EV drivers while monetizing their charging infrastructure.

The network is likewise expanding its presence in locations that Filipinos regularly visit, with connected charging points available at destinations including Ayala Malls, Robinsons Land, Landers, and Starbucks. The strategy brings EV charging closer to everyday activities while potentially encouraging visits and engagement at these commercial locations.

Patrick Dela Cruz, Evro chief operating officer, described the 100,000-user mark as a reflection of the trust placed in the platform by the EV community. He said Evro aims to continue improving its app and charging experience as the Philippine EV industry develops.

The milestone comes as ACMobility continues investing in charging infrastructure, with its EV charging station network now spread across more than 200 locations nationwide.

Autocar’s Take

Reaching 100,000 users is more than a nice number for Evro. It shows that EV charging is gradually becoming part of everyday driving in the Philippines. The bigger story, however, is the growing need for a charging network that feels simple and dependable to use. Having more than 430 charging hubs listed on one platform gives EV owners a practical tool when planning longer trips or simply finding a charger nearby.

As more electric vehicles enter Philippine roads, services like Evro will become more important. The next challenge is making sure the charging experience keeps pace with the country’s growing EV market.
