EastWest Bank is strengthening its partnership with Tesla Philippines by once again giving select clients exclusive access to the American electric vehicle (EV) brand through a private engagement. The event, according to the banking company, is scheduled for August 10 at Tesla Center Manila.

The client-focused activation follows the success of the first Tesla x EastWest client experience held in May 2026, which brought together bank clients and automotive enthusiasts for an up-close look at Tesla’s growing lineup in the Philippines. Guests were given the opportunity to test drive the Model 3, Model Y, and the recently introduced Model Y L while learning more about Tesla’s electric vehicle technology and ownership experience.

For EastWest, the collaboration is part of an effort to offer customers benefits that extend beyond traditional banking services. Instead of simply providing financing, the bank is positioning itself as a partner in premium lifestyle experiences by connecting clients with emerging mobility technologies.

Jason Atienza, Head of Secured Lending at EastWest, said the bank continues to explore partnerships that create meaningful value for its customers. According to Atienza, collaborations with brands like Tesla allow EastWest to combine innovative financing solutions with experiences that support clients’ aspirations.

The May 2026 event also featured exclusive offers for attendees, including EastWest auto loan rates starting at a 22.22% add-on rate for 60 months, alongside special discounts on Tesla vehicles and accessories. Similar ownership offers are expected to be available during the August event, giving prospective buyers additional incentives to make the switch to electric mobility.

Tesla has steadily expanded its presence in the Philippine market over the past year, introducing more models and growing its retail footprint. Partnerships with financial institutions such as EastWest could help make EV ownership more accessible to buyers seeking flexible financing options while enjoying exclusive client privileges.

Interested EastWest clients may reserve a slot for the August 10 Tesla engagement through the registration page announced by the bank. The event is expected to once again showcase Tesla’s latest electric vehicles while highlighting how financial institutions and automotive brands are increasingly working together to deliver a more complete ownership experience.

Autocar’s Take

Banking partnerships have evolved well beyond rewards points and credit card promos, and the EastWest-Tesla collaboration is a good example of that shift. By combining competitive auto financing with hands-on access to Tesla electric vehicles, EastWest is creating an experience that appeals to customers already considering premium mobility. Whether or not attendees decide to purchase a Tesla, events like these help demystify EV ownership and make the technology more approachable. As electric mobility continues to gain traction in the Philippines, collaborations between financial institutions and automakers could become an increasingly important driver of EV adoption.
