Unioil Petroleum Philippines opened the first Aramco fuel station in the country, located in Sucat, Parañaque. The said station marks the first joint effort between Unioil and Aramco, following Aramco’s acquisition of a 25 percent equity stake in Unioil in 2025.
Aramco, regarded as one of the world’s leading integrated energy and chemicals companies, is said to offer quality fuel in the Philippines. As a side note, Aramco is a title sponsor and technical collaborator of the Aston Martin Formula 1 (F1) team. One of its drivers, the two-time F1 champion Fernando Alonso, even made a video greeting, welcoming Aramco to the Philippines.
Aramco’s ProForce, a premium fuel, can now be filled up when motorists visit its first station in Sucat, Parañaque. It will also offer Valvoline Express Care automotive services, which are said to provide a seamless customer experience.
Unioil revealed that more Aramco fuel stations will soon rise in other locations. The company shared that Aramco stations will rise along North EDSA, Quezon Avenue, and the North Luzon Expressway. This, according to Unioil, shows Aramco’s confidence in the Philippines. However, a definite timeline was not shared as of this writing.
Aramco Vice President of Retail Ziyad H. Al Juraifani said: “This is another milestone in Aramco’s growth story. Sucat is Unioil’s first Aramco-branded station in the Philippines, but it’s part of a bigger plan. The Philippines has the growth and consumer demand to support a stronger fuel retail market, and that’s what drew us in. Unioil brings local market knowledge, and we bring global standards. Together, that’s a strong combination aiming to bring premium products to local motorists.”
Unioil President Kenneth C. Pundanera explained that consumers are at the center of the partnership. He said: “Our priority is to give Filipino motorists a new fueling experience when they visit our stations. Through this partnership, we’re providing high-quality fuels, dependable service, and greater value, so customers can truly feel real quality with every visit.”
Meanwhile, Unioil and Aramco are also renovating community basketball courts in multiple areas in Metro Manila. This project is part of the companies’ aim to support the communities they serve through grassroots projects and empower youth through sports.
