Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has officially started the retail sales of the all-new Land Cruiser FJ, which is among the vehicles that Toyota highlighted during the 10th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS). The retail sales of the Land Cruiser FJ commenced almost a month after TMP announced the start of retail sales of the Land Cruiser 300 Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV).
Toyota Philippines is offering the all-new Land Cruiser FJ in two variants: TX A/T and VX A/T. Both Toyota Land Cruiser FJ variants feature a bold, composed exterior design. In case you’re into numbers, both the TX and VX variants measure 4,610mm long and 1,855mm wide, ride on a 2,580mm wheelbase, and provide 245mm of ground clearance. The TX stands 1,890mm tall while the VX measures 1,950mm in height.
Toyota PH explains that the TX variant is intended for individuals who want a straightforward and capable 4×4. It is fitted with 17-inch steel wheels, LED lighting, a nine-inch infotainment display, and a seven-inch TFT instrument cluster. The Land Cruiser FJ TX trim also has synthetic leather seats with manual adjustments, and physical controls for key vehicle functions, including a lever parking brake and rotary selector for four-wheel-drive modes. Of note, the TX trim also has a differential lock and an auto limited-slip differential.

The Land Cruiser FJ VX trim, on the other hand, is for those seeking additional comfort, technology, and safety, according to Toyota PH. It still has a rugged look, but it comes with a larger set of wheels, which come in 18-inch alloys. The VX trim is also integrated with roof rails, side steps, a larger 12.3-inch infotainment display, an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, a leather shift knob, and a panoramic view monitor.
Aside from the added upgrades, the Land Cruiser FJ VX also comes equipped with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, which includes a Pre-Collision System, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Departure Alert, and Automatic High Beam, providing additional driver support for both everyday driving and off-road journeys.
Powering both Toyota Land Cruiser FJ variants is a 2.7-liter 2TR-FE naturally aspirated gasoline engine, producing 166 horsepower and 245 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and a part-time four-wheel-drive system, operating in rear-wheel drive.
The all-new Land Cruiser FJ is available in the following exterior colors: Smoky Blue, Oxide Bronze Mica, Ash, Attitude Black Mica, and Platinum White Pearl Mica PC (which comes with an additional cost of P15,000).

Here are the variants and prices of the all-new Toyota Land Cruiser FJ:
– Land Cruiser FJ TX A/T: P2,235,000
– Land Cruiser FJ TX A/T Platinum White Pearl: P2,250,000
– Land Cruiser FJ VX A/T: P2,575,000

Autocar’s Take
Toyota Motor Philippines has now started the retail sales of the all-new Land Cruiser FJ, which is almost a month after the commencement of the Land Cruiser 300 HEV’s retail sales. The Land Cruiser FJ is a good addition to Toyota PH’s model lineup, as it gives the car brand a challenger in the 4×4 segment. The availability of the Land Cruiser FJ could shake up the 4×4 market in the Philippines. With that in mind, it’s interesting to see if it can also have a strong following like the Suzuki Jimny.
The all-new Land Cruiser FJ is now available in Toyota dealerships nationwide. Customers may visit their nearest Toyota dealership or visit this link for more information.
