ACMobility is expanding its Power-on-Wheels (POW) service to help businesses overcome one of the biggest hurdles in electric vehicle adoption: reliable charging infrastructure. The mobile EV charging solution is designed to support enterprise operations by delivering charging services directly to fleets, offices, depots, residential developments, and event venues, allowing organizations to keep their electric vehicles moving without depending solely on fixed charging stations.

As more companies embrace fleet electrification to meet sustainability goals and improve operational efficiency, dependable charging has become a critical requirement. ACMobility’s latest expansion addresses this challenge by bringing charging where businesses need it, reducing downtime while supporting uninterrupted daily operations.

According to Carla Buencamino, Head of Mobility Infrastructure at ACMobility, the Power-on-Wheels platform extends EV charging beyond permanent infrastructure and gives enterprises a more flexible and resilient charging ecosystem that aligns with real-world operational needs.

The mobile charging service is designed for various industries. Residential and condominium developers can provide charging access for residents and guests, while office buildings can offer convenient charging for employees, tenants, and visitors. Fleet operators benefit from scheduled or on-site charging to maximize vehicle uptime, while dealerships, retail establishments, and event organizers can deploy temporary charging solutions that improve customer experience and increase EV visibility.

Power-on-Wheels eliminates the need for businesses to immediately invest in permanent charging infrastructure. Companies may choose between monthly or annual service agreements, complete with a dedicated mobile coordinator and emergency roadside assistance for charging-related concerns. The system supports battery electric vehicles and selected plug-in hybrid models through DC fast charging, offering capacities of up to 120kWh and compatibility with CCS2 and GB/T connectors.

The expansion further strengthens ACMobility’s role in accelerating electric vehicle adoption in the Philippines. The enterprise charging solution is now available across Metro Manila, Bulacan, Pampanga, and parts of Southern Luzon, including Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal.

Autocar’s Take

Today’s businesses can no longer view EV charging as an afterthought. As more companies invest in electric vehicles, flexible charging solutions will become just as important as the vehicles themselves. ACMobility’s Power-on-Wheels addresses a gap by bringing mobile EV charging directly to businesses instead of requiring costly infrastructure from day one. That approach lowers barriers to fleet electrification while keeping operations running efficiently. As the Philippine EV ecosystem continues to mature, solutions focused on convenience and operational continuity could accelerate enterprise adoption faster than infrastructure expansion alone.
