Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) has partnered with Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) Philippines as the official mobility partner of the Caravan for Peace and Solidarity – Padayon sa Prelatura sa Marawi. The caravan is a nationwide initiative aimed at supporting the rebuilding of the Prelature of St. Mary in Marawi.
The peace caravan is spearheaded by ACN, a pontifical foundation known for supporting humanitarian and pastoral programs worldwide. The campaign serves not only as a fundraising effort but also as a symbol of unity and solidarity for communities still recovering from the devastation brought by the Marawi conflict. The partnership highlights IPC’s continuing push to strengthen its role as a socially responsible corporate citizen while supporting humanitarian and community-driven efforts across the country.
As part of the collaboration, IPC deployed an Isuzu NMR truck to support the logistical requirements of the caravan as it travels to various destinations nationwide. The vehicle will transport campaign materials, resources, and support equipment needed throughout the initiative, which seeks to raise awareness and funds for the rehabilitation of the Marawi prelature ahead of its 50th anniversary celebration in November.

The Isuzu NMR truck assigned to the caravan is powered by Isuzu’s Blue Power diesel engine, designed to deliver dependable performance and fuel efficiency for long-distance travel across both urban centers and provincial routes. IPC said the truck’s stable handling, efficient transmission, and low maintenance requirements make it suitable for continuous nationwide operations.
“At Isuzu, we believe that being a responsible partner goes beyond providing vehicles – it means supporting initiatives that uplift communities and create lasting impact. Through this collaboration with ACN, we are honored to play a part in helping bring hope to Marawi. No contribution is too small when it comes to rebuilding lives and strengthening communities,” said IPC Sales Division Head Robert Carlos.
Carlos’ statement was followed through with a message by Max Ventura, National Director of Aid to the Church in Need Philippines, who went on to say, “We are deeply grateful to Isuzu for joining us in this meaningful journey. Their support as our mobility partner allows us to carry forward our mission with greater confidence, knowing that we have a reliable partner helping us reach communities across the country.”
Beyond providing the vehicle, IPC’s nationwide dealer network will also help support the caravan through accessible aftersales service and parts availability, ensuring uninterrupted operations throughout the campaign.

Autocar’s Take
Corporate partnerships become more meaningful when they go beyond branding exercises and directly support communities in need. IPC’s involvement in the Caravan for Peace and Solidarity shows how mobility can play an important role in humanitarian work, especially in initiatives that require nationwide coordination and outreach.
Marawi’s rebuilding efforts continue years after the conflict, and campaigns like this help keep public attention focused on long-term recovery. More importantly, the partnership demonstrates how private companies can contribute practical support instead of simply offering financial donations. Reliable transportation may seem ordinary, but in projects like this, it becomes an essential tool for sustaining hope and action.
