Jetour has showcased the T8 SUV at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, featuring an exterior design that shares a bit of similarity with the Chery Tiggo X. The Jetour T8 also comes with a boxy exterior, but has a more rugged finish as compared to the Tiggo X.

The T8 is among the vehicles that Jetour displayed at the Beijing Auto Show. The car brand shared that its theme is “Travel+,” which is Jetour’s umbrella concept that links automobiles with leisure, exploration, comfort, and lifestyle.

Jetour aims to show that it is a car brand that’s determined to develop “aspirational products designed around experience.” Simply put, Jetour wants to offer vehicles that are suitable for urban driving, family road trips, exploring the great outdoors, and long travels.

Among the Jetour vehicles that are said to be designed to fulfill the said qualities is the T8, a three-row, seven-seater SUV. The Jetour T8 comes with a boxy exterior that’s highlighted by a bold and confident-looking front fascia.

It has large headlights that are complemented by daytime running lights, which run throughout the T8’s front end. Jetour’s SUV also has a sizable front bumper that’s accented by a faux skid plate in silver, as well as shiny black trims. Of note, it seems that the T8 is equipped with a roof-mounted Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) sensor.

Turning at the side, the Jetour T8 has muscular fender flares, straight character lines, a stepboard, and black side mirrors. You can also spot that the T8 is integrated with piano black trims, giving additional style points to the vehicle.

The rear, on the other hand, has distinctive taillights, a roof-mounted lip spoiler that’s integrated with a third brake light, and a full wheel spare tire cover, which gives the T8 a somewhat nostalgic SUV vibe.

Inside, the Jetour T8 has a three-row seating configuration that can accommodate up to seven occupants. It also comes with a large central infotainment screen and a digital instrument cluster, according to Car News China.

The official powertrain details for the T8 have yet to be revealed by Jetour as of this writing. However, Car News China reports that the Jetour T8 could come with a hybrid powertrain along with a 2.0T turbocharged engine that generates a power output of around 254 horsepower.

Autocar’s Take

The Jetour T8 is an SUV that comes with a boxy exterior, making it a vehicle that looks bold, commanding, and assertive. It also has a full spare tire cover at the rear, which gives the T8 a design that’s similar to SUVs such as the Nissan Patrol, Mitsubishi Pajero, and Isuzu Trooper.

As mentioned, Jetour aims to be a car brand that offers versatile vehicles that can be used for several purposes, such as urban driving, family road trips, exploring the great outdoors, and long travels. The T8 is among the versatile and functional vehicles under Jetour’s model lineup.
