ACMobility is revamping its electric vehicle (EV) membership platform in a move that reflects the evolving needs of Filipino EV users. Presenting the ACMobility ChargePlus, the company’s updated program that replaces its previous discount-based structure with a more flexible, value-driven system. The rebrand comes as ACMobility responds to key concerns raised by users, particularly around expiring credits and limited flexibility.

With ChargePlus, purchased charging credits no longer expire, provided they are used at least once every six months. This change tackles one of the most common frustrations among EV owners, especially those who do not rely on public charging on their daily drives.

Moreover, the platform introduces a tier-based credit system, which rewards higher spending with bonus credits of up to 20%. This is meant to accommodate a wide range of users, from occasional drivers to those who depend heavily on public charging infrastructure, while maintaining a pay-per-use model that avoids locking customers into rigid plans.

The ACMobility ChargePlus also expands beyond charging itself, bundling in lifestyle-oriented perks through partnerships. Members can access vehicle care benefits such as vouchers and complimentary four-wheel alignment services at Bosch Car Service outlets nationwide. There are also discounts on official BYD accessories and periodic maintenance service (PMS) discounts for Kia owners.

One notable addition is the inclusion of Power-on-Wheels (POW), a mobile charging service offered at no extra cost for select credit bundles. This provides an added layer of convenience, particularly in areas where charging infrastructure is still developing.

ACMobility is also enhancing its digital ecosystem. Future updates to the Evro app will allow users to reserve charging slots and extend sessions remotely, further streamlining the charging experience.

With its growing charging network across Luzon, and expanding presence in Visayas and Mindanao, ACMobility is positioning itself to play a central role in supporting the country’s EV adoption.

Autocar’s Take

What stands out with ACMobility’s new ChargePlus program is not just the added perks, but the shift in mindset. Instead of pushing users into committing upfront, ACMobility is leaning into flexibility, something that aligns better with how EV ownership actually works in the Philippines today.

Charging habits here are still inconsistent. Real-world experience can attest that the country’s EV industry is shaped by daily routines, but is held back by infrastructure gaps. A system that adapts to that reality is more relevant than trying to impose structure. The inclusion of lifestyle benefits is a smart touch, as well. But the real win is removing small friction points.

Sometimes, making things easier matters more than making them bigger.
