Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has officially launched the 2026 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV), which shows that it is committed to staying true to its initial announcement of introducing five new models this year. The all-new Toyota RAV4 HEV is available in two variants, with a starting price of P2,183,000.

The 2026 Toyota RAV4 HEV comes in two distinct styles, depending on the variant of your choice. The entry-level RAV4 Adventure trim features a bold and rugged appeal as seen on its straightforward front fascia. The RAV4 Adventure’s ruggedness is emphasized through its angular and chunky front bumper, faux skid plate, and black wheels. The same can be said of the RAV4 Adventure’s rear design, as it is fitted with a beefier bumper.

The top-spec RAV4 Limited, which is shown as the main image of this article, offers an exterior that looks sleek and modern, as seen in how its front end is designed, which Toyota calls “Hammerhead” style. It has a more angular bumper along with a honeycomb pattern on the grille, while the silver trim on the front and rear comes with a subtler finish.

When it comes to specifics, the 2026 Toyota RAV4 HEV is equipped with LED headlights and daytime running lights, LED fog lamps, and front and rear mudguards. Turning at the side, the RAV4 has crisp character lines along with black cladding, roof rails, and a ground clearance rated at 201mm. When it comes to the wheels, the RAV4 Limited has 20-inch wheels, while the Adventure has 18-inch wheels.

The rear has distinctive LED taillights, placed seamlessly in the vehicle’s tailgate, creating a modern finish. The all-new RAV4 also has a roof-mounted spoiler, power-folding outside mirrors, a panoramic sunroof for the Limited trim, and a tilt and slide sunroof for the Adventure variant.

Inside, the 2026 Toyota RAV4 HEV has a black interior theme, and the top-spec Limited trim comes with leather seats. The driver and front passenger seats have an eight-way power adjust function, allowing both the driver and the front passenger to set their most preferred seating position more easily. The leather seats also come with a seat ventilation feature, a tech that will come in handy, especially during the summer season.

Meanwhile, the leather steering wheel is mounted with audio, phone, and vehicle controls. The air conditioning system has automatic dual-zone climate control as standard on both variants, while the top-spec RAV4 Limited trim has two wireless smartphone chargers.

When it comes to onboard entertainment, both variants of the 2026 Toyota RAV4 are fitted with a 12.9-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as a nine-speaker JBL sound system, and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster.

In terms of safety, both 2026 Toyota RAV4 HEV models are loaded with features such as a blind spot monitor, airbags (Driver, Passenger, Front Side, Curtain Shield, Driver Knee), Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS), Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), and Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC).

Other standard safety features include the following: panoramic view monitor camera, Pre-Collision System (PCS), Automatic High Beam (AHB), Lane Tracing Assist (LTA), Lane Departure Alert (LDA), Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC), Downhill Assist Control (DAC), and Safe Exit Assist (SEA). Exclusive to the top-spec 2026 Toyota RAV4 Limited variant are the following: Adaptive High Beam System (AHS) and Intelligent Parking Assist.

Under the hood, both variants of the 2026 Toyota RAV4 HEV are powered by a 2.5-liter gasoline hybrid engine that delivers a combined output of 236 horsepower and 221 Nm of torque. The engine is connected to an e-CVT, and power is sent to all four wheels, which Toyota calls the E-Four AWD system.

The 2026 Toyota RAV4 HEV Adventure is priced at P2,183,000, while the top-spec RAV4 HEV Limited has a sticker price of P2,499,000 (note: an additional P15,000 in case you want the Limited trim to come with a Platinum White Pearl Mica exterior paint).

Autocar’s Take

Toyota Motor Philippines has officially launched the all-new 2026 Toyota RAV4, available in two variants: Adventure and Limited. Both trims have their distinct exterior styling, which gives interested individuals more options to choose from as to how they want their RAV4 to be when driven off the showroom.

The all-new RAV4 is equipped with several notable safety and tech features, which are a given in today’s modern vehicles. But what stands out with the 2026 RAV4 is its pricing. See, the all-new RAV4’s starting price is at P2,183,000, which undercuts the Honda CR-V e:HEV’s starting price by P305,000. As such, from the looks of it, the all-new RAV4 and the CR-V could be in for a slugfest.
